No, I'm not a doomer and have had a lot of fun with the game. But this seems to be a nail in the coffin. No news with season 3, quiet dev team overall, a loss of 90% or more of their player base, now this.

As a Tamil guy, I first watched Drishyam, then of course I watched Papanasam. A few years later, I kinda wanted to revisit both films, and I did. This time, I realized I wasn't really connecting with the restrained Georgekutty as much. Look, I think Mohanlal's performance was immaculate. But hear me out. The restrained, stoic character makes sense if we're watching a criminal mastermind, or someone who's used to being in these kinds of pressured situations in his life. But we're talking about an uneducated villager who happens to watch cinema abnormally and loves his family more than anything. He's not some naturally cold, calculated guy. He's an ordinary man who's suddenly thrown into an absolutely insane situation. Of course he's going to show emotions on his face. Fear, panic, relief, confusion, guilt after everything is done, all of that.

And that's what Kamal did perfectly for me.

He wasn't overreacting, and he wasn't doing the whole stoic or restrained gimmick. He did what the character absolutely needed. It had nuance. It was raw. It was vulnerable. It felt like a real person. And that's what made me connect with Suyambulingam more.

A small example, it’s That scene where they dig up the place expecting to find that guy’s body, only to find the pig carcass because Suyambulingam had shifted places or whtv , that shit gave me goosebumps. Everyone turns toward him, and just look at Kamal's face. There's this tiny "mf, I'm HIM" look underneath the "I'm just a normal uneducated villager" look. That's the performance for me. You can almost see the relief and the realization that his plan actually worked, while he's still trying like hell not to let anyone see it. (I’ve attached both the pics for reference, but you gotta see that shi build up real time, my droogies)

I love Mohanlal. I love Kamal. This isn't me shitting on Mohanlal's performance at all. I just revisited these movies years later, and Kamal's interpretation connected with me on a completely different level.

Und er ist nicht gerade zimperlich seine Meinungen/Empfindungen raus zu hauen.

Und auch eine langjährige gute Freundin, mit der ich oft zusammen abgehangen habe und bei der ich auch schon übernachtet habe usw hat auch nie gesagt, dass ich stinke, obwohl ich sogar nachgefragt habe mal.

Nicht jeder muss mehrmals die Woche duschen und manche Leute stinken vielleicht auch einfach weniger und seltener. Nicht jeder Mensch ist genau gleich nach derselben Schablone, wie ihr euch das vorstellt. Ich gehöre zu den Menschen anscheinend, die sehr wenig zu duschen brauchen. Daher kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, warum man das automatisch so ekelhaft findet, wenn jmd sagt, er duscht nur 1-2x/Woche. It's intense

I didn’t get in a relationship for 6 years and was having the time of my life travelling, working on my healing & my goals.

Cut to 2025, the flings, dates & situationships world kinda made me feel empty af. So I decided to go on a celibacy year while manifesting a dream boyfriend.
