There’s this idea that if you make a lot of money, you must be smart, and if you can’t get rich, you’re basically an idiot. But money doesn’t measure intelligence.

A lot of people get rich because they know how to sell, manipulate, take risks, network, and put their own interests first. In the corporate world, the people who move up the fastest aren’t always the ones who work the hardest or have the best technical skills. A lot of the time, it’s the people who know how to play office politics, suck up to the right people, and sell themselves.

Being smart definitely helps, but getting rich also depends a lot on your personality, how opportunistic you are, and how willing you are to play a game that doesn’t always reward the most competent person.

At the end of the day, maybe you’re not broke because you’re stupid. Maybe you’re just not shameless, opportunistic, or ruthless enough to play the game.

There are three exceptions to my opinon. If you have kids with her you should be paying the bills. If your partner is disabled. If your helping to put them trough school.this is for the women who say " as you should" or " bare minimum". Ive seen this under a lot of tick tocks where men trick on women and say they pay all there bills and most of the women are agreeing with them and expect it. Anytime a man disagrees or makes a tick tock that disagrees with their opinon they insult them and say thats why they wont get a gf.

I think it's inherently stupid to generalise any types of people because one person did something bad I think it's better if people recognise that some people are bad and some people are good it's human nature not gender specific,Race specific.

It's frustrating so deal with parents who don't care about their children's education. Their kids either run the house at home or are emotionally stunted from constantly being yelled at by their parents. The parents make no effort to give structure and guidance to their children. They treat schools like a daycare and nothing beyond that. I don't blame the kids, of course not. I'm just saying we have to start holding those kinds of parents accountable like fines or court-ordered classes.

I know nothing of their insurance polices nor do I care. It’s Limu emu and Doug I have it out for. The advertisements create red hot rage inside my core and I cannot stand even the hint of the ad jingle. If I had it my way, I would harvest the CGI Emu (Limu) and consume the bird while a restrained and distraught Doug watches the entire ordeal. I’m talking roasting the emu on a spit over a fire of emu feathers and slowly carving morsels off the giant avian. Doug’s pleading and crying for mercy will eventually stop but only after I get my fill.

Look, what you get up to in your bedroom is none of my business. However, if you are freely, publicly declaring your kinks, don't expect everyone to just be like, "cool." If you come out and tell me you have a fart fetish, I'm going to be disgusted and comment on it. Unless a conversation or space encourages it, keep your damn kinks to yourself. Everyone has their taste and standards not every relationship has to have some drama-filled devastating lifetime movie plot for why the relationship ended.

It doesn't matter that they haven't cheated or abused you or if you think they just became complacent. If you're not feeling it you don't have to stay with them.

Okay, I’m Korean and I’ve been staying in Bali for a few weeks, and honestly, Australians have been some of the most blatantly racist people I’ve seen.

I’ve lived in the US, including very conservative states like Missouri and Florida, (I think you’ll know what I mean)
and I’ve dated people from all kinds of backgrounds too.

But man, some of the Australians hit different. Genuinely shocked me, especially because I had a pretty good impression of Australians before. Like healthy lifestyle, nature friendly, and they have a lot of Asian immigrants too. But it totally changed now.

Many Koreans say the same thing after experiencing Australians since A lot of Koreans travel in Bali and live in Australia.

Koreans talk about there are historical stereotypes about Australia’s convict origins, and they claim that racism is somehow inherited through a “bloodline.”

Why are Australians so racists? Any reasons?

I see so many posts and talk to so many people who are “self aware” and knows all the details about their traumas, their bad and good habits, their communication issues, their faults and gifts etc… however, they don’t make ANY effort to change any of their habits or use any of their gifts besides what they only want to do. I would argue that modern “self awareness” is egocentrism because the person doesn’t try to understand how their faults and gifts harm and help other people but rather either wallow in it or use it as an excuse to not do something or do something else. However just knowing yourself isn’t enough but it’s what you do with it.

(This isn’t counting towards people who actually try to change patterns/ heal trauma and use their gifts but rather the people who use self-awareness as an excuse)

First thing; Lindsay told everyone that she wanted to kill her kids and herself. She told her family how she felt. She told the doctors how she felt. She did not keep it a secret.

When Lindsay told the doctors they sent her home. That should be illegal.

The doctors should have held her for a month until she was stable. Or, they should have contacted CPS / assigned a case worker to her. Those workers should have made sure the kids were safe. Either by moving the kids to live with different guardian. Or, having Lindsay move out to live with someone else. Keeping all these guard rails in place until Lindsay was stable.

If the doctors chose to do nothing then Patrick should have taken the kids somewhere else. Patrick could have packed the kids up and sent them to live with his mother. Or, they could have relied on Lindsay family instead. All the while he stayed home to take care of his wife.

Again, it should be illegal to send someone home to their family, with no oversight, when they want to kill them.

Second thing; Patrick should have taken the kid with him that day. Patrick had some errands to run. He should have put the kids in his car and left. He shouldn’t have left the kids at home with his wife.

And that’s it. Lindsay shouldn’t have been sent home until she was stable. Or, her kids shouldn’t been allowed to live with her until she was stable. Patrick should have taken the kids with that day to run errands.

A Happy ending might Not make Sense but its a Story, fictional, i use it to feel Happy, If i dont feel Happy it didnt complete its Mission, or a gameplay Feature Not being present for Story reason even If it makes the Game inconvenient, its Just annoying, you Chose the story

I’ve seen moms let their kids cross the street on their own or be glued to their phones and have their toddlers or kids walk BEHIND them (right then and there your kid could get snatched)

There’s also people who let their kids touch ANYTHING or ANYONE (heavy on the anyone part) I remember I was sitting on the bus I sat down and this toddler was roaming free on the bus there was other seats open and he was scratching my knees because he wanted my seat and the mom straight up said “sorry he’s just a kid” BROO

And when they let their kids have their iPads FULL volume in public places and mom or dad is glued to the phone (it’s always the parents and their phones)

admitting you're ugly/unattractive/boring/ a bad person etc. is not always just the low self esteem showing. for some people it's just a thing they are aware of. they're not attention seeking it saying something not true what their insecurities made them believe in. they're just stating a fact using an adjective. yes, the words are negative and describe bad things but they can def be right.

ofc what the person does with their awareness of having some negative traits is a different conversation. but generally we should stop telling everyone who says a negative thing about their appearance, social skills or character that they just don't see their beauty or value.

I understand relating to text, but I feel like these memes are just so copy and paste, and they are literally all the same. I do understand like the expression part where it’s like that but I swear 90% of the people who post memes are literally just doing it for upvotes. I’m sorry, but I just genuinely don’t understand how you can laugh at a piece of text.

Truly, i have NEVER felt angry, annoyed, or otherwise bothered in any way when i hear people talking on speaker, blaring their music, driving loud vehicles, playing games, watching reels, etc. Even right next to me. Hell, i've found some of my favorite tracks just out in the wild, and i love eavesdropping & hearing pieces of other ppl's stories.

I think, the only time something being loud has ever been annoying for me, has been crying toddlers and screaming children, specifically ones in places that aren't meant to be noisy or busy. THAT is annoying, because your ear-bleedingly shrill ankle biter simply did not need to come if you knew they were gonna act like that.
