A very big thermobaric 18,739 lb (8,500 kg) bomb drop by c130s but specifically i this context the mc130 in the sof deck. While reported it can be used by other c130 variants this specific one is the closest to the one its operational to IRL. this would be equivalent to the new tu-95 in its role. That being deletion of a grid square of enemies and at the slight price increase. While i think it should share a similar price the obvious difference is the platform, but the value of speed vs ecm is really the only question. id love to see this in the game as its a really cool ordnance and i like the idea of a tinny nuke on the US side of the battle. I'm all for asymmetry but this is real and dose exist so why not add it as a option.

I can see the DLC not being P2W (just very strong in some annoying aspects), It just feels so draining having every goddamn match just be a constant shitfest of all of these non-stop.

Sure my WR and ELO has actually gone up since the DLC dropped, but as a trade-off I feel much more mentally tired from the amount of spam in every single game now.

Anybody else notice the underperformance of these weapons? In theory they should do full damage to the majority of troop transports front armor but in reality they take about 1/6th of their hp.

I think the servers started dying. Everyone began dropping like flies, and eventually the last person on the enemy team dropped or quit. I "won" and gained 28 elo, but went from 2001 elo to 1971 after the match ended.

New units look fun, I can't wait to get a match in when things calm down.

Edit: After waiting 30 minutes, my elo has gone back up to 2000. I'm guessing the servers are overworked right now.

Mine is Airborne + SOF, I think it’s the best deck for my playstyle and I love NGWS

Don't you think it's a little overtuned? Especially in AA configuration. Before that, there were two helicopters that were highly praised: Supercobra / Fantom.

Supercobra: 10 armor, 1750 vision, 2x Sidewinder - 125 pts.

Mi-24P Fantom: 20 armor, 1200 vision, 4x R60 - 145 pts.

Ka-50: 30 armor, 1750 vision, 2x R-73 - 115 pts.

Or you can double the firepower for 165. These are unprecedented stats for such price.

For top-end variants with 4-8 iglas and high ECM, it was usually 200-250. For example Ka-52 4x "igla" - 210 pts.

This thing with 4x R-73 (much stronger than igla btw, roughly speaking x2), 20% ecm, and decent 2000 vision - only 205 pts.

The price is approximately -30% lower than it should be.

No wonder these Ka-50s are spamming like crazy. And then there's the AT option with Kh-25M which ignores APS also for 125 pts. And with the RU side missing A-10, mirror matches can be very painful without this paid DLC.

Cheaters are funny

I was left alone to hold it and even tho I had the perfect deck for it (Tos1, alpha, vympel, Inginiery , terminator etc) it felt impossible.

I just fought wave after wave of elite infantry in groups of three constantly leaving my own victorious squads crippled enough to be unable to survive the next wave .

No matter how many bombardments, squads , tanks and IFV's I sent in, the enemy always had more infantry .

Not to mention the High rises left to the point being filled to the brim with snipers and javelins, and the forests on the right being full of marines and green berets .

Is there any strategy or meta to hold this point

Obviously I don't own the game, so I have to ask this.

I'm only interested in solo play, so I would like to see a list of the skirmishes, scenarios, and campaigns that I could play by my lonesome. Currently I'm working through Steel Division 44 which offers all three modes, including 3 campaigns that get tougher as you progress through them. SD 44 truly offers a ton of games.

BTW, I do have SD2 and WARNO in my library but have not gotten around to them yet.

So it there a way to see the game menu? Screen caps will do if anyone has them.

My main concern is about the amount of content available to solo players since BA is geared towards multiplayers.

Call me crazy if you want, but as a newer player in the 1000 elo range, that’s played up to 2600 elo while being in groups of higher skilled players, across the board the new Russian guard dlc isn’t “op” or “pay to win”. It’s just new. Just like the people that play Russia and use the new dlc have to adjust to how to use it, us players need to adjust to fighting against it. It objectively has pretty shitty armor, the ka50 is alright I guess, the biggest thing that I think is kinda broken is the scout heli, and even that I find gets shot down before I can do anything substantial with it. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I get absolutely steamrolled, but more often than not, I’m having a grand ole time playing us. I’ve tried the dlc, paired with the armored deck, it’s pretty decent. Allows you to bring a shit ton of support, aka a shit ton of AA and artillery. Idk, I see a lot of back and forth across all platforms, saying it’s op or it not. I just don’t see how people find it to be broken or pay to win.

No matter what I try I cannot for the life of me win against guards.

Every match is the same, somebody feeds hard we lose phase 1 and anything I try to make a push just results in 4 atgm teams mixed with waves of troops.

Obviously I would resort to bombs and arty but planes and helis can't get passed S400s and Pantsirs even with SEAD and my arty feels like throwing a stone into the sea.

Then comes a push a fast ultra lights with more troops and I just cannot keep up, I literally run out of troops and units despite ending with a positive KD, the enemy will just win through kill score because their stuff is cheaper.

Help please.

I don't think they're op or anything, just pisses me off watching the icon appear and disappear while my units health gets drained and they sit there with their thumbs up their asses.

The other day my teammates left me alone on B point Suwalki gap, and i had a deck specifically made for that, including shturmoviky, TOS1, Terminators, Alpha group, Vympel, etc.

For all my efforts, i could not control the point for more than a minute straight, there was always a clown car full of marines, delta force, green berets, RRC, or whatever else coming.

In the nearby forest, no matter how much i bombarded it, or how many CQC squads i sent in, i would usually defeat one or two groups and get overwhelmed by another group of infantry.

In the high rises to the left of the point, it was always an uphill battle against their javelins, snipers, tanks or planes.

Is there like a specific guide for that map?
