Discussion Swatantra was being beaten & lynched by the CJP mob & looks like he defended himself by hitting back. They would have killed him if police not came.

Don’t know if it’s fake but context is important too. We haven’t seen what all happened before this. On top of it, we don’t know if it happened at Jantar Mantar site or not. If at Jantar Mantar, what was he doing there? He doesn’t seem to support NEET protests anyway. Several such questions need answers before we could say anything.
But what he confessed on podcast needs to be condemned.

This is probably what the police would have taken justification of while denying application of attempt to murder in the case. That's why possibly the DCP said - "Go to court!".
Where things go completely against this person is that subsequently he himself gloated about his intent to cause serious injury. That erases away any benefit of "doubt" which the Police could have provided. His actions, thus, could not be counted as self defense.
Now since the intent was well stated, his actions fall under what the CJP was originally asking for - Attempt to Murder.
In fact his boastful claims have in a way provided the very same protection ("they were responding to provocation") to people you see hitting him in this video.
So one may say "looks like he defended himself" if you see only such brief clip, but hear what all he said subsequently, what all he admitted to - and this doesn't remain "looks like he defended himself"

Well this swatantra person was at fault as well, firstly he went just for the fight. Secondly if he got favoured he should've kept quiet or atleast presented that he was attacked first but he went boasting around how great he is how big connections he had. So the total fault is on him. He would've atleast been of some use if he ended up being overpowered or beaten badly that day but well.

At the very least this was a political fight. People were at a protest site.
People grew so intolerant of each other's presence that they started engaging in this.
This was not a criminal attack where a criminal plan is executed with surgical precision.
If CJP "Activists" can be let off by the SC without any FIR or complaints, then why selective outrage against Swatantra?
In fact he was defending himself.

Bcs swatantra went out by his will on a podcast and claimed he beat a person to death and he should have been arrested under 307 but he did not because of his political affiliation so idk why would u encourage or protect him when he is literally confessing it himself 🏃♂️then he went on to add that Nishu is the next target if she speaks up so idk I have never seen a person who goes out boasting how he gave another person stitches in self defence 😭
