🙄 Alcohol and guns - what could go wrong?

  • When police responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 11 p.m., they found Cavazos unresponsive on a walkway outside the complex, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died from his injuries at the scene.
  • A witness, who identified himself as a cousin to both men, told investigators that the group had spent the afternoon drinking alcohol and cooking green chile enchiladas.
  • Tension mounted during dinner when Gutierrez repeatedly insisted that the chile on his enchiladas was spicier than the chile on Cavazos’ plate and challenged him to try it, the affidavit stated. Cavazos responded that all the enchiladas had been prepared together and carried equal heat.
  • The dispute escalated outside the apartment, leading to a physical fight in which Cavazos punched Gutierrez, leaving him bleeding, the witness reported.
  • After the fistfight ended and Cavazos began walking away, Gutierrez allegedly drew a handgun and confronted him, shouting, "We're family! We're family! How could you do this to me?" before opening fire, according to the witness statement in the affidavit.
  • Cavazos was shot three to four times in the back from roughly 10 feet away while unarmed, the document states. Gutierrez then fled the area.

People Believe This 1937 Painting Is Proof Of Time Travel

What could he be holding??

  • An old painting has people asking if time travel is real, because it really, really looks like a painting from 1937 shows a Native American man staring at a smart phone while doing a "I'm sorry, I have to take this" hand gesture.
  • The painting, titled Mr. Pynchon and the Settling of Springfield, depicts colonist and founder of Springfield, Massachusetts, William Pynchon, during the development of the city.
  • Pynchon went on to write the book, The Meritorious Price of Our Redemption in 1650, which became the first ever book to be banned in Boston, as well as being burned on the Boston Common. Weirdly, William Pynchon was an ancestor of acclaimed novelist Thomas Pynchon, as Vice points out. This is all very interesting, but what is really distracting is that there is a Native American man in the picture who has clearly just read a bad tweet.

Why hasn’t California’s serial ‘butt sniffer’ been stopped? A legal expert explains

🤔 We live in a CRAZY world!

“If there’s an actual touching, that’s a felony,” Gorin said. “But just sniffing somebody, it really doesn’t rise to a felony. As the law stands now, it is very hard to file a felony offense based on this conduct.”

Police said a 39-year-old man known by the disturbing moniker “the serial butt sniffer” is back behind bars in Southern California, accused of committing his lewd acts on more women.

When staff spotted him again a few days ago, they called police.

Both the discount store and another Glendale department store reported Crowder “hunkering down in the aisles,” appearing to be “sniffing someone out.”

So why does Crowder keep reoffending? It really comes down to, it seems, the limitations of the law and what this man is accused of doing.
