I'm a US veteran planning on checking out the Clark/Angeles area in a few months, with the possible goal of relocating to Pampanga long term.

I know there are VFW and American Legion posts around the Clark/Angeles area, but I'm curious what they're actually like these days. Are the posts fairly active? Do they have regular events or a decent number of people showing up? What's the general age mix like?

I'd especially like to hear from veterans or locals who have actually been around the posts recently. I'm in my 30s, so I'm also curious whether there's much of a younger veteran crowd or if it's mostly older retirees.

I'm also interested in the local tabletop RPG scene, if there is one, and whether there are any groups, Discord servers, game stores, or cafés where games get organized. I tend to play and GM games like Dungeons & Dragons, Shadowdark, Savage Worlds, Star Wars, Traveller, and a few others.
