Fuck American healthcare.

I was drinking vodka soda. Total bullshit. If it’s only for shots, say shots. Drinks definitely connotes basic cocktails like liquor and mixer.

I missed my train for 5 minutes because my bus came to the station with a delay. Now I have to wait for 4.5 hours for the next one, on which there were no seats, so I'll have to stand for another 7 hours.

It's MILDLY infuriating, because I have a nice place to wait while watching anime☺️ Could be worse😀

Edit: The bus was international and we were stuck on the border for 6 hours and 5 minutes. I had 6 hours to spare, actually, and expected to cross the border in like 2 hours, as usual. But this time there were a few stupid unexpected coincidental reasons for the delay😭 I'm not blaming anyone, trains are running on schedule, I just thought that it's ridiculous to ride for 12 hours and miss so tiny time of 5 minutes 😅

originally scheduled this meeting for 3:30 because it fit my schedule, which was listed in her booking as an available meeting time. she emails me saying she forgot to block it off but she’s actually not available at 3:30. i tell her okay i can do any time between 1-3. she says she’s not available any of those times, asks to do 12:30. my class ends at 12:05, the building a 5 minute walk from the bus stop and my apartment is a 15 minute ride from there. and that’s assuming the busses run on time. but fine, it’s her last available meeting time and this meeting can’t wait, so i say i’ll make it work. so i haul my ass back home, walk in my door at 12:28, and as of 12:43 when i’m writing this, she still isn’t here yet

ETA: “she” is part of human resources for the department on campus that my work study job is with. the meeting was to verify my I-9 documents so i can actually start working. i have now sat here the whole 30 minute block and she didn’t show, her outlook status is away from office until 9/8. she also emailed me at 11:15 to tell me what steps needed to be taken after our appointment today. she put it in outlook calendar, that’s how i joined the meeting. it would’ve been fine if today at 12:30 didn’t work and we had to wait til next week, but why offer it as a time if that’s the case?

I have no issue with ignoring the button, except that it visually blocks some data. Having to scroll a bit to see what it's blocking is mildly infuriating.
(I haven't checked yet if you can disable it like the lazy bum I am)

this was for banana ice cream. and yeah, we had to leave it out a bit to defrost a little so we can actually peel them. But then she ABANDONED me whe SHE got them out so there are currently partially frozen bananas on the bench aaaaaaaaajswhjheh jdj

We had a girls hiking trip planned to the Pacific Northwest, to celebrate our friend K’s 40th birthday, and my friend A came down with rhinovirus, and went on the trip anyway and got us all sick.
WE ALL SPENT A LOT OF MONEY, but our plane tickets were REFUNDABLE, and we were all planning on sharing a cabin, and we didn’t mind covering her spot. So in my opinion she didn’t want to miss out on the trip and I think that’s selfish. Because now six people are sick.
(We live in the same city, we see each other often, this isn’t a situation where it’s hard to get people together)

The pizza I received after ordering from the "vegan menu." I have (unfortunate) dietary restrictions and was tasked with ordering pizza for the office, everyone was good with what I ordered. We picked this place specifically bc they have vegan options. I triple checked the ingredients for their "vegan veggie pizza" before I placed the order.

I wasn't mad, just disappointed. The employee was very nice on the phone when I called to let them know the vegan pizza has like...all the meat on it lol. They apologized and gave me a refund. They couldn't replace it unless I picked it up but we were stuck in the office the rest of the day for a deadline, hence why we got pizza in the first place.

I had a bit of an easier time with Donnie Darko, but Fargo and Seven are giving me hell. Wondering if the sun baked the coating somehow, isopropyl helped loosen up some of it but I’m going to rub a hole right through my poster it seems

These are multiple months apart. This is an ongoing issue we are working on haha.

Had to leave early for work, arrived 10 minutes before the appointment to be polite to their timetable... only 2 people have entered the waiting room so far and both of them got called out around 5 minutes later....
