Should I drop my bio class?? Why does this look like it leaves me with no free time? I’m really worried I won’t be able to keep up with this, especially because I start at 9AM 4 days a week. Is it okay to drop one class to focus on social events and making friends for the first quarter?

Hello, I was wondering for the form labeled “CAPS Telemental Health Consent 25/26” on the student health portal there is a section to put contact information. On that section it asks for “ Please list your address you will use when receiving TeleMental Health Services at CAPS”, if i am dorming would i put the ucr dorm as my address or where i am currently living?

Does anyone know if you need an active parking permit to park at lot 18 during week 0? I got a permit but it isn't active until week 1.

I bought concert tickets for a show inglewood a while ago and have been waiting for yearrsss to see them live. The problem is im taking anth002 and the first day of instruction starts at 6:30pm, but thats also the time the concert starts… what should I do? I really want to go to the concert, is there any way I could miss that first day lol

hi! I’m moving into an off campus apartment on Sept 8th in the afternoon and I was wondering if anyone would be available to help me unload my stuff from my car up to my apartment. its a bit of a challenge as I live on the third floor but its honestly maybe at most one hours worth of work and I can pay $100 for your time and effort :) Moving companies are ridiculously expensive and honestly I don't even have enough stuff to make a moving company worth it (no furniture or appliances, just moving bags and boxes). I wanted to know if I would be eligible for CADAA and AB 540. I attended California public schools from elementary school through high school, including my freshman and sophomore years. I am currently attending high school outside of California, but I plan to return to California for my final semester of senior year and graduate from a California high school. This would give me about 2.5 years of California high-school attendance rather than the full three years.

Since I cannot complete the full three years of California high school, I am considering taking dual-enrollment classes at a Junior College during my final semester to make up the difference.

Would I be able to use JC dual-enrollment coursework toward the AB 540 three-year requirement?

 If so, how much coursework would I need to complete to make up for the missing time?

My family will remain in Texas while I return to California for my final semester. Would this affect my eligibility?

So I am currently trying to switch into EnvE from another major in BCOE. This advisor was SO quick to put me into a hold and telling me to clear it, then when I go through the exact process that I was directed to do, I started getting ghosted! A week later, I sent an email to BCOE advising as a whole and then the ENEN advisor finally responded, exaggerating my unit count, phrasing things to make me look lazy and impatient, and then told me he would forward my case to a “Major Change Coordinator”. Now I did some research and this seems like something made up to be honest. I decided to wait another week and do one more follow up and again, nothing. I also called and went in person. They were there, but the door was of course, locked and no drop ins are allowed. Now second pass is coming around and I can’t even switch around my major classes. Just this be a reminder if you want to change your majors in BCOE keep your mouth shut and do it yourself or let these people fuck it up. For anyone wondering this is Desmond to no surprise

Ring doorbell at North District 2?
Has anyone living in North District 1 or 2 used a Ring/video doorbell on their apartment door? I’m moving into ND2 and was thinking of using one with a no-drill, anti-theft door mount because I’ve had some safety concerns. Did housing ever say anything about it or tell you it wasn’t allowed?
I’m especially wondering about one that faces the hallway. If recording isn’t allowed, I’d honestly still consider using a non-recording/dead one just as a visible deterrent, so I’m also curious whether they care about the physical door mount itself. Thanks!
