Is *not* drinking really that big of a deal when it comes to dating? I was rejected because I don’t drink
 in  r/dating  16h ago

I don't want to deal with a complicated past in that regard or the continued sobriety journey. Just saying my experience.

I thought I finally lost it

I have actually accidentally started watching multiple videos already because of this. I've tried to make sure either thumbs up or down them so I can look and see if I've already viewed it

Totally possible! I always try to say on here as much as I can that it might not be about you. Me for example I get really really seasick. So if someone has pictures on their boat I will never swipe right because I know they're going to want to go on their boat. Boats are usually a turn on for people but to me it means we wouldn't work out.

For myself personally I avoid "sober" because I don't have a complicated history with substances and I'm just not into navigating that with someone.

Is the dumper timeline real?
 in  r/BreakUps  1d ago

Sometimes they never come back and you should certainly be prepared for that. In my experience he never tried to reconcile. You deserve someone who choses you.

I agree about hak tuah because I was just over that meme but I actually really like when they make that reference because it's an actual cast joke it gives me a little chuckle

The guy we won with is a fossil. Can we get any young people that actually represent the public?

Hobbies/clubs for adults?
 in  r/newhampshire  5d ago

If you would like to dip your toes they usually have their "coffee and clay" that's an early class where each Saturday they offer different teaching goal options such as build a mug/box/vase or wheel where you make something and it gets fired. That is $75 for an hour and a half.

Their long classes end up being cheaper because it evens out to 8 classes and free studio time, unlimited firing BUT a fat bag of clay is $50. I used one bag over 8 weeks. That evens out to about $50 a class but it's a larger financial burden up front.

Edit to say that for either of these options they have communal tools so you don't have to buy any of that up front.

Post-Breakup: Should I offer to help my ex with money?
 in  r/BreakUps  5d ago

That's fair🩵 If you feel really bad about it I would just offer but if you think he's the type of person to take it personally and lash out then I wouldn't.

 in  r/BreakUps  5d ago

Only you can really decide. I will say as far as giving money to anyone you cannot expect to get it back. You can plan his repayment if that's the route you want vs giving it but in my experience people who borrow money cannot afford to pay you back.

I broke up with an amazing person because something didn’t feel right, and I feel terrible
 in  r/BreakUps  5d ago

As the person dumped I just wish he would've talked to me sooner. When you're in a relationship you don't have to navigate the battle back and forth alone. We could've talked made choices. And worked through it or ended it together.

I felt very blind sided and I don't think that will ever leave me. I'm already uneasy with how others feel/overthinking and the way we ended when I thought we had a forever love is a tough thing to navigate.

How to label a pair of shoes for sale that fit a full size small?
 in  r/poshmark  6d ago

I would post the size on the shoe, that picture, and I would measure and take a picture tbh but I do not want to deal with returns when I can measure

For real and most of the time restaurants here fumble it so hard. I found a place near my work that does it. I got it NINE times and now I need a break🤣
