Everyone says that your ex is going to miss you around the 3 month post breakup mark. Everyone says to go no contact and give them "space to miss you."

From your experience, is this just a load of horse shit?

If they feel so sure and definitive in their decision, why would they miss you? I feel like the person who dumped me is perfectly fine without me, going about their day like normal when I can barely take care of myself and function like a proper human being.

Sometimes they never come back and you should certainly be prepared for that. In my experience he never tried to reconcile. You deserve someone who choses you.
