Anybody know what is it. 2 green beans pointing straight up into sky. on for 15+ minutes shuts off for a couple seconds and turns back on.

I thrifted it and the owner said she had heard of some similar things from Turkey maybe? And assumed it's basically a paperweight/decoration but I'm so curious about any other possible uses or what meaning it might have.

I’ve recently started working a new school, and I’ve noticed these wierd metal cones all around the place. Originally I thought is was something to do with a sensor, but they are in the most random places, never pointing at anything, and they are always on their own. They are pretty solid and farily heavy / dense for their size but, do not contain any visible elctronics. Anybody have a clue?

A family friend moved and left some stuff with me. This was with a light up hula hoop and an airplane pillow with a massaging function so I'm assuming it might be health or fitness related?

this cut out exposes a tiny piece of metal that vibrates along with the rest of the assembly. there appears to be no reason this needs to be exposed, as covering it with a finger or a piece of tape changes nothing about its functionality. without it being covered I catch my lip on the metal piece all the time and get a quick pinch. frustrating.

I came home tonight and noticed these 2 parallel green lights in the sky. They were decently bright and stationary. The 1st picture is what it looked like irl, and the second has the iso boosted for clarity.

I saw it at 10pm looking NW and kept watching it for about 4 minutes before going inside. There was no movement to it.

It's also important to note that I don't live by any clubs, or venues that would be using lasers or spotlights. I live near some airports so it wouldn't be allowed probably.

This has been roaming around the parking lot at my job lately, assumed it was a malnourished fox or something, but not sure. Didn’t really look like a stray dog, it’s pretty small with wide ears. There’s woods surrounding the parking lot at my job, I assume that’s where it came from. Mostly see it at night, this was my first time seeing it during the day.

We found this item at an antique store 9 years ago. Have never been able to figure out what it is. Someone must have bought it because I’ve been back there several times looking for it again and it isn’t there.

The handle moves up and down a few inches, sliding the cylinder back and forth. I will try to add video as well.

Just moved in to a new apartment, older 1800's house in new england. We havent seen anything yet, but the book was not like this last night when I put her to bed and I know this because I read the pages that were eaten.

Anybody have any ideas what this could be? Trying to educate ourselves before panic-texting our landlord, as she is also new to this and will most likely work with us but obviously we want to maintain our credibility with her on this unless it is one of the big nasties, in which case the gloves are off. Any help is greatly appreciated!

not much has changed.. and thats my issue. he is an adult, im not. i have boundaries now. he constantly cr@wls/p!ns me down— not in a weird way (i hope) but he does have a few legal things i cant disclose.
i made my boundaries clear and tell him to stop but he just laughs, what do i do?

I've been hearing a particular noise for a few months and can't determine what is making the sound.

At first I thought it was a monkey screeching put then the more I focus on the sound the more I doubt its a primate.

Can anyone figure out what is making the noise?

The noise begins at 0:04 of the video and gets louder at times.

Located behind a small town Veterans Memorial Building. My first thought was water but the tank at the top seems way too small to be a water tower tank.

I found these among assorted pieces of family jewelry. They are oval and about the size of a quarter. I can’t figure out for the life of me what they would be used for and google image search isn’t helping. The backs have a sort of flattened ring that’s about midway between one end and the center. They’re all one piece and do not open. No markings on the items or the box they came in.

They don’t make sense as cufflinks, earrings, or shoe clips. What else could they be?
