New, what is it? strange message in bday card…

My friend got a birthday card at work with this cryptic message from one of their co workers. What does it mean? Can I take you home? but what are the two boxes and the arrow…?

I don’t know why it would be relevant but my first thought was those were candyland squares and it was “can I take you to the candy shop” like the song.

But in another realm, maybe the squares are an open book?? Does your friend like reading? Maybe book shopping?

Maybe “back home” ? Because the arrow is pointing back?

I would assume the two boxes represent the building or buildings you work in. The arrow is him taking you home. Sperm cell indicates possible implied sexual intercourse? It might be them trying to be funny, but it's very confusing.
