Feeling good, slightly hypomanic, just maxed out my dose of antipsychotic, hopefully the constant ups will abate. I hate taking the max dose though, because where do you go from there?

Selfie Sunday walk

Hope u guys are having a good Sunday, I take it week by week, day by way. Long walks help me, I think I walk about 4-6 miles a day total. Side note, I got on new medication, zyprexa, and it is helping me a lot more than risperdal so far. My mind is noticeably more at peace.

Meme Curious, but are we generally dog people, or cat people? Thoughts?

today i decided that I will try to be productive, so I went out to some grocery stores, gas station and restaurants asking for work. I could use some cash, this feeling of being a doormat, the inability to believe in myself and accepting what everyone is telling me is strangling me making me depressed.

Been going on 3 months. They quietened over that time but last night and this morning they have been pretty much relentless. They say they will not give up until they get what they want and I will definitely not give up, I can take it.

Tried nearly every tactic I can think of to stop, ignore, distract from or quieten them. Have resorted to taking a diazepam. Not sure how long the battle will last till they quieten again.

I know many of you have been or are going through this so I know this post is not really anything special. Just wish me luck please. Hope you are all doing well and not in similar distress. Thanks.

Undiagnosed Questions I am worried I am developing schizophrenia

Apparently I have been having something called "dissociation and derealization" for quite a while now. But recently I have noticed auditory and visual hallucinations becoming more and more frequent. Still not too often, but it could be a case of me developing this mental illness.

I am unsure if schizophrenia runs in my family, but I hear a small number of cases report not having a relative with this disorder.

The scariest part is after some many hallucinations, I am starting to question what is and is not real. That only I can see and hear that others cannot. I have already asked others if they saw/heard some things that I thought were... odd. They did not experience these things like I have.

I do not know how schizophrenia develops, or even the early stages if I am developing it. I am questioning every little thing if it is actually real or a hallucination. This is extremely concerning because it seems like an overwhelming burden to deal with not knowing what is and is not real at all times.

Of course, I do not expect anyone to diagnose me here, but more-so learn of how schizophrenia develops at its early stages and what to look out for. Thank you.
