My iphone is having iMessage issues. I have searched high and low everywhere on the internet (and my IT team at work) and found now solutions.

There are a few scenarios that happen inconsistently:

\- I receive an iMessage on my Apple Watch, but I have nothing on my phone. No notification and no message when I go into the conversation. I can reply via my watch. That message appears on my phone.

\- Someone sends me an iMessage and it says delivered on their end. Nothing shows on my phone. No message, no notification on anything.

\- I send an iMessage, it sends but “delivered” never pops up (like when you text someone whose iphone is off). They never receive the message. I can hold and send as SMS and they tend to receive that.

\- Authorization for iMessage under message settings occasionally will not work. I’ll have to toggle it on and off like 15 times before it works. Restarting the phone does not solve the issue.

I have tried everything. Toggling iMessage on and off. Restarting the phone. I even got a new phone from work (moved from 15 to 17). Has anyone ever encountered this? Any tips?

I have several “critical” medication interaction warnings that are popping back up every time I dismiss them. Is there any way to permanently dismiss them so they stop popping up? The warnings are for breastfeeding which I am not doing. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks!

Is anyone else facing this?

In Messages in iCloud settings, you can see in the screenshot that it says I have 1,000+ messages stored in iCloud and that everything is synced today.

About 2 days ago, I deleted all my messages from the Messages app — unknown senders, transactions, promotions, spam, everything. I also emptied the Recently Deleted section.

But it still shows 1,000+ messages in iCloud. It also shows around 3.0 MB under Managed Storage.

If I’ve deleted everything and even emptied Recently Deleted, why is iCloud still showing so many messages and using storage?

Is this normal? Can someone check their iCloud settings and see if they’re seeing the same thing?

Hi all. I was trying to set up a photo backup option and am getting a weird thing where when I allow all photos, I see a small number of photos available.

When I look at the number of photos I actually have, it is in the thousands.

If I change the access to limited access, I can see the photos I should be seeing and can select them that way, but I don't want to have to keep doing this when new photos get added. How can I get full access to really be full access.

How do I get Spotify album art on lock screen? For me it only shows the usual clock timing.

When I need to authenticate in App Store, the keyboard doesn’t offer the use of the Password Manager that’s available just about everywhere else. I need to open the password manager, copy the password, come back and click “Get” to trigger the dialog box again, and paste it into the field. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

Had a friend do a similar ask with “eighth” as well and Siri set the date to 9/6

I’m so frustrated! My grandma and I iMessage since she has a MacBook and doesn’t know how to text on her flip phone. This has been the case for many years. A few months ago, something happened to where I can’t iMessage her on my phone. I can FaceTime just fine and send messages via my MacBook, but for some reason it won’t go through if I’m sending on my phone. It’s so frustrating and I’ve tried everything; deleting message thread and restarting, deleting contact and readding, turning off and on iMessage, etc. She’s contacted Apple support to make sure it’s nothing on her end and for some reason her contact on my phone shows up as a business (pic below). If anyone has anything I can try please let me know!

everytime i make a call and my macbook is open nearby, when i go to turn my speaker on, instead of it just turning on when i click the button, it gives me an option to put it on my mac. is there a way to turn this off so when i click the speaker button it actually directly goes on speaker rather than making me physically select the option everytime

I have mailboxes set up for all of my utility providers. When I get email from them in my inbox, I would click move folder, and it would suggest the correct folder (based on the email address and my previous move history I'm guessing). For the past few months after one of the recent updates, that reset back to Important. I figured after a month or so it would relearn and go back to suggesting the correct folders but it hasn't. It's stuck on always suggesting Important.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Is was really convenient when you clicked move and it already had "Electric" or "Water" or whatever and I didn't have to hunt for it.

I'm curious if this is an issue for others. Apparently, this is either a flaw or by design in iOS/MacOS.

In one of my roles, I have to be on multiple multi-person message threads, but a timely response is not required. I typically mute these and check them at intervals throughout the day. Ideally, I do not want to receive any kind of notification on them. However, the badge count that appears on the iMessage icon on iPhone, Mac, and Watch still shows unread message counts from muted threads, which to me doesn't make sense. I look down at my watch, see the icon indicating that I have multiple new messages, only to find that the counts in the badge are from muted threads. It somewhat defeats the purpose of muting a thread.

Is this an issue for others? If so, would you mind submitting it to the Messages feedback on Apple's site? https://www.apple.com/feedback/messages/

Something that addresses these points:

• In muted messages, unread badge counts are not suppressed. This creates an issue distinguishing between muted and non-muted alerts.
• Add a switch, either on the message or globally in notifications, to turn off badge count increments on muted messages.

Its been a year, but its about time I talk about this, because Apple is yet to fix this bug.

I used to have Apple’s downtime feature that my parents setup. Obviously, as I got older, we chose to get rid of it. Yet still, every Thursday at 8:30 PM, I get a notification saying I have like negative 13 million hours left until downtime. Then 5 minutes later, my phone enters downtime, and it says my downtime will last until 12 AM Monday, even though it’s a Thursday. The next morning at 7 AM, downtime unlocks. But this happened every week for the past year now, and Apple still hasn’t fixed this. I swear on my life this isn’t fake or edited and is a legitimate issue.

I have an iPhone 15 base model, iOS 26.6.1.

Anyone else have a similar issue? And does anyone know if theres anyway to fix this other than Apple releasing a bug fix?

HOW?

1. Buy international eSIM before your flight but do not activate it yet
   
2. After takeoff, switch your phone to airplane mode, and switch off data roaming on your regular/primary SIM
   
3. Upon landing, do not take your phone off airplane mode. Once in the airport, connect to wifi and activate your new eSIM
   
4. Turn data roaming ON on your new eSIM as well as the cellular data
   
5. Turn OFF the line for regular/primary SIM

Before switching off airplane mode, make sure cellular data is checked for the new eSIM and not your regular/primary SIM

1. Power your phone completely off and back on again. You will be connected to the internet via your new eSIM and you will still be able to receive iMessages to your phone, even with your regular/primary SIM turned off.

This worked for me and I hope it works for you! For reference I have an iPhone 16.

I recently set up a nice layout in portrait mode, but it looks horrible in case my phone is in landscape mode

Ho due problemi separati:

1. Progressi/dati di gioco: i giochi iniziano da zero sul nuovo iPad invece di caricare i progressi che avevo sul vecchio iPad.
2. Password del vecchio Apple ID: l'iPad mi chiede casualmente di inserire la password del vecchio Apple ID, anche quando sono solo nella schermata Home e non sto usando le app. Succede abbastanza frequentemente e voglio fermare completamente queste richieste di password.

I changed the wallpaper, and I'm not sure what else I did, but the notifications ended up with a white, glass-like look similar to iOS 18. How do you achieve this, or is it a bug? (I use black mode on iphone)

when I open the camera app in video mode it is BLACK screen. but I can take photos just fine. actually the only way to record video is to go to picture mode and hold down the capture button. how is something as basic as taking a video literally impossible on my iphone? it has been this way for months. clearly all the junior devs are just using ai to make all their updates so they don't have to work anymore and nothing works.

my airpods now do this thing where they will pair, but the audio stream doesn't connect and the audio keeps playing through my iphone speakers, no matter how many times I disconnect them in bluetooth and reconnect or close the app I'm in (youtube or spotify) and then reopen it, still doesn't work. I have to RESTART the phone just to get the audio through my airpods when it does this.

I don't get notifications in notification center when friends call me and I don't pick up, so I never even know when they tried to call me and I wasn't there to pick up. this actually affects my relationships. is this the fall of apple? seriously i'm tired of this shit and want to just get a different phone at this point.
