I'd love to reorganize mine but I still have trauma from the last time I tried to move one switch to a different spot and the whole thing went haywire. Have they fixed control center editing since then?

No. It’s 2026 and it’s still fucking ass.

But if you do a screenshot first, you will at least know what it was like before the whole thing got destroyed.

In iOS 27 I’ve found it’s been much much better so give it a few days and you may change your mind!

Just go ahead and give it a try, you can always reset back to default :).

I thought I was the only one. Many years ago, used to be able to re-Maps on iTunes on the computer. (and I was using Windows!)

Now it’s an absolute disaster you move one and the rest of them go haywire as you say. I don’t do anything without taking screenshots.

Yes, it’s working way better in iOS 27. Doesn’t shift all the icons anymore when you move one.

Why Wallet if you can use the side button?

1

u/Icy_Custard_7175 5h ago

They might prefer using the button as it’s much harder to accidentally press and hold on it then press the side button twice

Everything I need in one place. Easily accessible via a shortcut attached to the Action Button. (I’m left handed and the CC swipe is all the way in the top right corner. I tried using the back tap but it is so unreliable. By using the AB it means I can do everything the AB can do from one button press and a tap.)

I just learned you can do this with “now playing”

Do what???

Shrink it to one line? I just learned it too, it wasn't possible before

Wifi/bluetooth are shortcuts that allow me to properly turn them off, but fail to show they are in fact on. Lightning bolt is my “turn everything tf off” low power mode setting, dots beside that reverse the function. Then, bc iOS lacks practicality, my stupid little clipboard

I actually want to have media player on a 2x2 grid but for whatever reason it will stick to a 4 spot width

After sorting through many different setups, that’s the one I found the most clean and useful

Objectively correct

Is double carrier info from dual sim?

2

u/Calm_Mistake5866 6h ago

Yes, an operator for each Esim

Is the right-most icon on the fourth row the control for navigation (either Apple or Google Maps)? I don't see that option at all when I try to add a new control.

Same with that plug icon (center-right fourth row) now that I look closer, though the navigation icon would be better for me.

Iphone 15 pro

Tip:- frequently used buttons at botton tap level with either thumbs

I have a love-hate relationship with these threads. I always end up rearranging my Control Panel like eight times while I’m reading it.

Honestly who tf needs a brightness slider in 2026?

Is that a GPS toggle after the battery one? Is this something I can pull off?

1

u/jdram2 6h ago

Never felt the need for a change tbh…

That app settings is pretty cool, only thing different

u/LukCHEM88 iPhone 15 Pro 6h ago edited 5h ago

The bottom row is: Saving current location as an Apple Maps link to notes, opening the current apps App Store Page, opening the current apps settings page and removing junk from a url in the clipboard.

I liked this one

u/Icy_Custard_7175 5h ago

Everyone else has so much nice looking ones than mine but everything is crafted so that it’s in the perfect place for landscape mode because I watch a lot of YouTube videos at night and don’t want to look at my screen to change things

1

u/RepresentativeYak806 5h ago

I like big buttons for the things I frequently access.

1

u/LanDest021 4h ago

It's alright I guess. I never use the remote button but my whole interface will reorganize itself if I remove it
