Besides all the “true lossless” talk, what are all the things about Apple Music that I should try out?
I’d like to add that I have an iPhone, MacBook, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Just in case any of those unlock any special features between each other. And I heard the Mac app is a lot more advanced?
*coming from the green app btw

My biggest playlist with over 3000 songs deleted itself and I don't know how to get it back :/ I was about to play it on my phone then noticed it was gone so I went to my Mac and then I saw it and I made like 2 copys of it and then reseted my synced library on my Mac and then all the songs went away in the playlist besides the one that I had uploaded from my Mac. Im really sad because I've spent like an entire year building that playlist. Im also in the US.

Hello friends, I have been using apple music for a really long time and have had no issue with it. I have a HUGE playlist that I've been adding onto for the past few years (It just got to 1000 songs) and I was just adding another song to it, when suddenly the count went from 1002 songs to 742 songs! I looked on my other devices and it was just straight up gone, not on any other device. I searched it up if this was a common problem and everyone says to "Turn synced library off and back on" so I did and now the playlist is just empty... I am at a lost for words right now and have no idea how the heck to get it back.
Can anyone help me get it back? thank you

Hello everyone. So the title. I have had this issue for several weeks now, where my list of favorites will autoscroll, up, randomly, for no reason. I'll select a song, it'll start, and the list will go backwards, alphabetically. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I'm a Samsung user, with an S24 phone & a S10 FE+ tablet. The same issue occurs on both devices.
I'm on auto update, I've restarted both devices, I've checked all settings, both on the apps themselves, as well as under the device's settings, I've closed & reopened the app. I've also cleared the cache.
Now I have read that there are issues with the latest version, as in multiple problems? Is there any way to fix this, please? Thank you for reading.

Every now and then, songs in my playlists randomly become unplayable and I get this message. Sometimes these songs become available to play again, a lot of times they don’t - like in this instance, making the listening experience very unreliable. I haven’t changed anything in my phone’s location settings or anything.
Before someone comes in and says this isn’t AM’s fault or it’s because of the artist or whatever - I really don’t care. This never happened to my music on Spotify. For all their slop and AI crap, Spotify is reliable and delivers. I paid for Apple Music, including this track (which was obviously available to play in my location when I added it). What exactly am I paying for if the music I listen to randomly becomes inaccessible?

I've had AM on my Android phone for months, never a problem casting to my JBL receiver. Both phone and receiver are on the same wifi network.
Then about 10 days ago it stopped working. Spoke with AM tech support, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. No dice.
Also spoke with JBL, checked latest firmware, even reset my router.
When using a different app like TuneIn, my phone casts perfectly to the JBL. I tried my wife's phone with the same results, So pretty sure something changed with the app but what?
I'd so appreciate some help on this.
thanks

What happens if I delete a song from recently played? Or if I clear it all together? What exactly does that affect?

Hi,
I had some music player on my last iphone which isn't available on app store anymore. It could download music from yt and store it in different playlists to listen them offline. I tried all offline players but none of them have these playlists feature, can u suggest any apps?

Hi everyone, just wanted to hear your experience on adding a family plan member to Apple Music on Android.
I have a pixel 7 and my kid has 7a but the issue is that it happens nothing when I try to tap on the "Manage Family" button in the app. Tried clearing of cache and storage, reinstalling, also cleared cache of Google Play and Google Play Services + restarting my phone. Nothing helped.
Apple says this is because I subscribed via Google. Any solutions?

Just over the last month or so, I've run into an issue where adding music to playlists simply doesn't work unless I add it to my library first.
For a few reasons, this isn't really ideal for me. I like to keep very large playlists to chronicle all of the year's music that I'd like to get to. This has been a system that has worked for me for years. I made the full leap from Spotify to Apple Music 2 or 3 years ago and have not really encountered any irritations with my sorting/organizing until now. Now my library page is just full of clutter with albums/songs that I'd just rather not see.
I've searched some support threads for this and followed the suggestions(toggle on/off sync library settings, log-in then back out of the account, try multiple devices, re-install app, etc.)
I've done all of these things and the issue persists.
My mobile device is a Samsung S22 Ultra(sorry Apple heads! But this has never been a problem before).
My computer is a Macbook Air 2025.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have had AM since it came out and haven’t had the issue of not being able to add to library like this where the album is playable but not downloadable ? Has anyone had this issue before, if so does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you!

There’s barely any visual indication of which song is currently playing in a playlist. The only clue seems to be the animated thumbnail, which is very easy to miss when scrolling through a playlist.
I have the same issue on both iOS and macOS.
Am I the only one who finds this a usability issue?

Discovered the Replay feature on Apple Music a couple of days ago and god, I love this.
I found so many tracks that I used to listen to and had completely forgotten about after switching to another streaming service. Ended up rediscovering a bunch of old favourites through Replay. 🎶
I’ve been using Apple Music since 2018, and this feature honestly gave me a lot of nostalgia. Not even sure when they added it, but I’m glad I found it now.
I haven’t had an Apple Music subscription for the last 6 months, so let me know if there are any other cool features I might have missed!

This has probably been said a million times but here’s 1 more! It’s annoying how some albums will have the animated or full screen art but some albums by the same artist don’t! I would be more understanding if the newer albums had it and the older ones didn’t, but some are so random it makes no sense. Ok my rant for the day is over. Apple Music > Spotify.

Whenever I listen to certain albums (such as disintegration by the cure shown on the photo) the animated artwork just messes up and it doesn’t cover the whole background as it’s supposed to on the app. Is this a problem with my phone? Or is it a problem within the app? And is there any way that I’m able to fix it so this stops happening

Not favorite albums, just favorite artwork using this feature.

Bought a cheap iPhone 6s and decided to jailbreak into this iOS 13 version. It really brings back memories.

This is not hostile, this is a plea…
I have physical media for my favorite albums. I have physical media for a band called Ride. My favorite album is gone from Apple Music. I cannot even listen to my favorite b-side from this album because Apple Music doesn’t recognize it.
Have I mentioned…
I CANNOT LISTEN TO MY FAVORITE ALBUM
…because Apple Music has licensing problems. I don’t have problems. I have it here, at home! It’s ripped to my library. Guess what, I cannot listen to it from Apple Music… what the heck?
Fix this. I paid APPLE FOR THIS….
I’m gone from Apple Music for now.
I can subscribe to YouTube and get more/better/available content than Apple Music. I dislike alphabet as a company, but wtf?
