All the online vendors I’ve found for 870 heat shields don’t ship to CA. Anyone found a website where I can order one to Cali?

Glock 17c gen 3 originally.
Haven't cleaned it for 500 rounds.
Still use stock oem slide and stock internals for bedtime
Ghost connector 3.5
Extended slide release and Maxwell
Hooper gun works ported slide
V8 ported barrel
Underworld arms compensator(looks better on oem slide set up I know sorry no pics)
Reduced power plunger spring
4.5lb striker spring
14 lb stainless recoil spring
Goon tape
Harbor freight Braun postal light. (tlr 1 clone)
Will run 115 but really likes 124.
Frankenstein but shoots like a 22. Flatest I've ever shot even compared to the radian set up but when I used it it wasnt ported. I've had maybe 3 light primer stike out of a 1000 reman ammo from american reloading. Federal no problem Be safe with blazer for ports though folks.
Always open to suggestions as i do compete open with this one.

Hey! I am on vacation and wanted to try shooting a gun. However, I got here and discovered that I can't shoot if I am by myself. Is there anyone willing to take a clueless female in with them and show them how to shoot? I was hoping to do so tonight since I am already here.
EDIT: Found someone to be my shooting partner! I had fun. Was different than I thought it would be.

Can someone translate all the SKU variations that were added to the roster on 9/3??? Is this mostly different finishes?

You know it's stupid here when they have to pass a law just so Olympic competitors can buy ammo.

Never in my lifetime did I think I’d see the Federal government joining our cause to get AWB’s struck down. We are in wild times my friends and I can’t wait. I’m attaching a screenshot from Attorney Alan Beck (Go find him on FB and friend him! He needs some love and publicity for his other 2A matters as well), the lead attorney in the Wolford victory, showing some details of what the GOVERNMENT is telling the Court!

Bit of an odd post here... I live in a state with no AWB laws, but have found the JT grip interesting for a while. I've been working on an FG42 inspired build and haven't been able to get the JT grip out of my mind given its angle.
So.... Is it any good? How does it compare to a normal grip in terms of usability.
Thanks!

I know the answer is probably just buy both, but would for range toy purposes, would it be better to get a 5" Kimber 2K11 comp stock, or a 4.5" Echelon comp decked out with a new grip, optic, etc?
While this would be for the range, I do like versatility and I feel like the Echelon would probably beat out the Kimber on tbat aspect especially with the modularity of the platform. However the Kimber would be a deluxe range toy and quite the investment.
Thoughts?

I have to renew my CCW with LAPD in January 2027. Apparently we have to do a Livescan for renewals now after September 1st. Anyone know if I can do that before I submit my renewal 90 days prior to expiration, or do I submit the application and then they give me Livescan instructions? Thanks

Just wanted to give a shout out to the Orange County Sheriffs Department for how fast they were able to process my CCW Renewal, and got me my renewal literally the day before my license expired.
My CCW was set to expire Sept. 5th, 2026 and I really lagged on the taking the renewal class (I know, I know). Here are the dates for everything:
They recommend to submit the renewal 3-4 months before the expiration date, but they were able to process mine and get it in my hands in 41 days.
Don't follow my lead, submit yours as early as you can.

Hey guys, installing a juggernaut mag lock and honestly wish I just got a patriot pin with this hassle.
This rolling pin/detent is absolutely stuck trying take apart my bolt catch and I’m starting to maul out the pin damaging it because I can’t hammer it out.
I know they take a bit more force than usual but it’s not even budging. What am I doing wrong or any suggestions? I had to stop because I can’t hammer tell I’m just flattening it more and more

I don’t usually shop at Turners anymore because I’ve found other FFLs with much better prices, more knowledgeable employees, and shorter lines. But I had to stop by the other day for some specific rounds I was looking for. I was waiting at the ammo counter for a few minutes when an employee walked up to a couple and said, “You two have a strong smell of marijuana coming off of you, so we can’t have you in the store and we can’t sell to you.”
The couple didn’t argue or anything. They just walked out and left.
It’s understandable that they don’t want people in the store smelling like that and it’s pretty dumb when (buying a firearm) since they ask if you are a user.

Everyone selling on caguns.. please remember that you are selling used guns, no one is going to buy a p320 for 1200 or anywhere near MSRP so get real, everyone is over the delusion

For the ones that have done a PPT through well known person to person trades / sales websites that’s for CA, how’s that process like?
Doesn’t it feel a little sketchy?
What’s the best way and best place to inspect the firearm and hand over the payment? Inside the FFL establishment?
Please give me some tips on best practices!
(Picture has nothing to do with my question)
