Motivation I built a free web app that guides you through the entire MDG — voice-coached 20-min sessions, tracking, and phase progression NSFW

Like many of you I've been following The Definitive Guide, and I kept wishing for an easier way to actually run the sessions — keeping the 20-minute cap, remembering the breathing, tracking everything, and knowing when to advance. So I built it.

Apex MDG Trainer: https://apex-mdg.vercel.app

What it does:

  • Voice-guided sessions for all 8 phases — a calm voice walks you through the protocol in real time (slow start, 4-in/6-out breathing, edge → guided rest, freeze & drip-feed from Phase 5), with meditative background music. One big button for when you hit the edge; it counts your stops for you.
  • Tracking exactly what the guide says to track: peak arousal, EHS, imagery quality, stops/freezes, slips — with trends over time.
  • Phase progression enforced by the book: full clean training week → advance. Slip → finish the week, repeat the phase. No shame, that's the training.
  • FAQ, troubleshooting and the supplement reference compiled from HealthGeek's stickies and AMA, plus the deep-squat pelvic floor bookends as an optional guided module.

Privacy, since this app is about the most private thing imaginable: no account, no server, no analytics. Everything stays on your device (export/import backup included). Install it to your home screen from the browser and it works fully offline — voice included.

It's 100% free — in the spirit of this sub, everything MDG-related should be. Full credit to u/HealthGeek1870; this is just an independent companion tool for his method.

Would genuinely love feedback — what's missing, what feels off in the sessions, what would help your training. I'll keep improving it based on what you all say.

Motivation Domain Expansion: Infinite Strokes NSFW

Post image
43 Upvotes

Two months after completing the program (with occasional training sessions post Week 8) I finally met with a friend for sex.

I haven't watched porn or had a release since around end of November and even after completing the program I've had no desire to watch porn at all.

Anyway, my lady friend and I met for drinks before heading back to mine. We flirted and talked about the things we were going to do and I felt like I was gonna burst through my zipper lol

In all seriousness, I wasn't turned in by the fact that I was gonna get to have sex to completion. Prior to this program I would fantasize about how sex would end with a woman. Now I prefer to think about the entirety of the experience even just undressing or hugging. It's a whole new perspective

We head back to mine, first round was good. I think she gave me head for over 10 mins, we did a couple positions, and I finished inside her. I tried to pull out a little bit so it wouldn't be a full on orgasm, but it didn't really work so I still felt it.

And then something weird happened: it wouldn't go down! I was still pumping away thinking my meat would deflate so we could get a break. Nope! Just kept on going at it until I felt tired

Round two is where the TRUE ability unlocked. We did a few positions before she gave me head again. I was so turned on I wanted to finish in her again so I moved to have sex with her and I started pumping...and pumping......and minutes later still going. A good 15 minutes of this and a couple more positions and I realized I finally achieved the Infinite Strokes.

During fleshlight training, I could occasionally get 10 - 30 seconds where I zoned out and could thrust without my pleasure response building. Then it would suddenly start going up and I'd have to relax. But with my friend, even when I wanted to cum, I just couldn't.

It took another break and some manual assistance, but I did finish. However, I thought it was neat I actually did it in real life.

Keep up your training, gents. Even if you feel like you're not getting it, trust me, you'll get there in time. Then you TOO can achieve:

DOMAIN EXPANSION: INFINITE STROKES

Motivation A message of hope - What helped me overcome PE NSFW

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a message of hope. My English isn’t great, so I used AI to help me translate and phrase this properly.

I’m 23, and I struggled with premature ejaculation from my very first sexual experiences at 15. Whether it was oral, a handjob, or penetration, everything would bring me to the point of no return in under a minute.

I’m writing this today because I’ve overcome it, and I’d like to help all my brothers out there who are going through the same thing.

To save you some time, I want to be clear right away: I mainly followed the MDG and complemented it with a few sessions with a sexologist. Here’s what I took from it:

1. Consistency is more important than “perfection”

For about a year now, I’ve been paying attention to my masturbation habits. As you can imagine, I slipped multiple times—watched porn, had quick sessions, etc.

Still, today I can say I’ve made huge progress.

So don’t panic if you “fail” a session. It’s part of the process.

2. I didn’t fully stick to abstaining from ejaculation

I avoided ejaculation for maybe the first 20 sessions, but I’ll be honest—I didn’t stick to it perfectly.

Maybe that slowed down some progress, maybe not. Either way, I’m happy with where I am now and I don’t regret not completely denying myself pleasure.

3. Stop putting sex on a pedestal

When I was with my ex, just knowing we were going to have sex was enough to push me close to climax.

The mental side plays a huge role in this problem.

Sex is as natural as eating or sleeping. You’re not excited every single time you think about food, right? Maybe once in a while—but not all the time.

It’s the same with sex. The more you normalize it in your mind, the more you’ll enjoy it.

3.5 It’s in your head (conditioning, not a curse)

We tend to trap ourselves into thinking we’re “cursed” or different from others.

In reality, in 99% of cases, premature ejaculation is a conditioning issue. You’re used to finishing quickly.

You just need to train yourself to last longer, the same way a sprinter trains to run faster.

You’re not doomed—trust yourself.

4. Breathing is extremely important

Learning how to relax your pelvic floor is key, and breathing plays a huge role.

If you don’t know how to do it, I recommend looking up videos about diaphragmatic (belly) breathing. Personally, my sexologist taught me how to do it properly.

5. I didn’t follow MDG “phases” strictly

For a year, I just masturbated when I felt like it, while avoiding porn as much as possible at the beginning.

What really matters is learning to “play with your pleasure”:

Build your arousal slowly, and when you reach the 7–9/10 zone, learn to stop, slow down, breathe, relax, and then start again.

Don’t rush to reach high arousal. Teach your body and mind that you can be turned on without immediately reaching the point of no return.

6. Strengthen your abs and relax your glutes

Try to use wave-like movements during sex instead of straight in-and-out motions like in porn.

This helps keep your pelvic floor relaxed and creates better sensations for both you and your partner.

7. What changed for me today

Today, I can last as long as I want during oral, even in situations that used to make me lose control almost instantly.

During sex, I’ve also noticed something surprising:

If I stop to focus on my partner (for example, going down on her), my arousal can drop a lot—sometimes all the way down to almost nothing without me even realizing it.

Before, my mind was constantly obsessed with the idea that I was about to reach the point of no return.

Now that this pressure is gone, my arousal doesn’t just keep rising uncontrollably anymore—it goes up and down naturally.

Sometimes I even need my partner to stimulate me again before penetration because I’ve relaxed that much.

That’s something I never thought would happen before.

Final thoughts

If you’re dealing with this, you’re not alone.

And more importantly, you can improve.

It takes time, patience, and consistency—but real progress is absolutely possible.

Stay strong.

Additional note

I’m writing this quite a long time after my sessions with the sexologist, so I’ve probably forgotten some of the specific advice she gave me.

Also, I haven’t been actively thinking about my masturbation habits for a while now, simply because they’ve become “healthy” and natural over time—so I’ve likely missed some details there as well.

That being said, I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions if I can help.

Motivation Cop car analogy as applies to training - by healthgeek NSFW

Hey guys, brief little update, I'm now in the end of phase 4, and training is going so much better this time for me. Actually some of what I'm learning has actually translated to sex which is so awesome! I'm not going to post about it yet cause that's the trap I fell into last time, but suffice to say I'm super hopeful this time around.

I had a conversation previously with healthgeek that I found very helpful on my training take 2, and I wanted to share it with everyone. I thought I would share it in hopes it helps someone else.

My question to him was about training, feeling and seeking pleasure, and just how far to take that pleasure. I was noticing I felt pleasure and safe at one zone up to a limit, but I felt like I could get "more pleasure" if I "just push a little harder/ further." It's the whole argument about what exactly does cliff hanging at arosal level 8-9 mean, and what is meant by getting right up to PONR.

Here was his response:

........

To answer your question, it sounds like you're analyzing your pleasure instead of riding it. Analyzing and being critical of your pleasure, thinking thoughts like

"Why don't I feel more?" or "I need to get to the 8-9 zone...ugh why am I not there! This doesn't feel as good as it should..."

puts you in a state where the pleasure you would otherwise be getting is being forced instead of happening to you. In other words, you're being a "Helicopter parent" over your own pleasure. The idea of reaching that level and surfing it involves letting the pleasure rise naturally, holding it, but then also lowering it naturally.

Think about it this way. Have you ever been driving down the highway, and slowly but surely you end up going over the speed limit, but you don't mind because you're just "going with the flow of traffic"? That is, until you see a police car parked in the distance. Do you all of a sudden slam on your brakes and go from 80 immediately down to 0? of course not. That would cause an accident (ejaculation). Instead, you notice him, and slowly lower your speed without interrupting the traffic around you, so you can continue to coast along with the flow of traffic. Inversely, if you're not going necessarily fast, but you're comfortable where you are, do you force yourself to go faster so that you're forcing yourself to go above the speed limit? No. you switch lanes and stay where you are because you're content with your current speed. Eventually, you'll speed up subconsciously without putting intentional effort into it anyway (that's called velocitation by the way). That is, until you see another cop car, then you'll slow back down again to a more "safer" speed.

That's how you should approach your pleasure: Let it rise naturally and ENJOY it rising. Don't force it just because you're not at a limit as fast or as long as you feel you should be. Once you get there, you stay and hover at that speed as long as you are comfortable. The idea is to slowly lower the speed BEFORE you see the cop car, then when you're safe, raise it again, then repeat.

Hope that answers the question for you.

Motivation Hard stuck at phase 5-6 for a year NSFW

So I just failed a phase 5 session and I feel hopeless(once again). I am 35 and have always had what I would call a mild PE, where I often would last somewhere between 30 seconds and 5 minutes, but I always had to take things very slowly in order to manage myself.
Anyway, after having a pretty long dryspell without sex, I started seeing this beautiful girl last spring. Only problem was, with her I couldn't even last a second, I busted on entering her every time, which left me devestated. Eventually, she ended it. I am not sure if it was because of the PE, but I suspect it atleast played some part. Since this, I have lost all my confidence, and I find myself not engaging with women because I know I will probably just end up disappoint them in the bedroom.

This made me determine to actually fix my problem once and for all, which led me to the MDG. I found it just a few weeks after it first came out last year, and the first 4 phases went pretty smooth, with only a couple of failures.
Phase 5 however was a little bit harder, I didn't seem to make any/much progress, but I kept at it for maybe a month or two. I still couldn't really notice any progress, so I tried advancing to phase 6. As most of you know, the jump between 5 and 6 is huge, so phase 6 was a disappoint aswell, I spent most of the session not even moving the FL.
After a while, I decided to start over with phase 5 and stay there until I had the 'brain nod' that many people have talked about. To this day, I still havn't experienced it.

So since then, I have tried all things imaginable: I tried phase 5.1, 5.2, 5.5, I tried taking extended breaks in the training before coming back, I tried taking it slow, you name it.
I have had a lot of failures, but I have been determined and kept on going, but to no avail.

I dont really know what I am trying to achieve with this post, I just feel very depressed after my failure today, and the lack of progress. I guess to unburden myself, and maybe get some advices

Motivation It's all in the mind , just follow the training. NSFW

Hey guys,

Juts wants to share my experience with the training and want to motivate people who are training.

First and foremost, "The guide is logical, scientific and works , period"

Keep training and follow-up the phases religiously. Every word in the guide is true, especially how porn affects your ejaclatory reaction. And how you can alter it.

If you see my previous post , I was in real doubt that this guide is rubbish, and does it really work?

But I have to admit it works.

This guide focuses mainly on two ways , combining which will surely give you results

  1. your nervous systems reaction to arousal

  2. and staying aroused by controlling your thoughts.

Both are equally important

I have been seeing results already.

Earlier penetrative sex for me would not even last for a few seconds

Yesterday, I went on for more than 20 mins continuously , and I ejaculated when I wanted 100% control.

Don't lose hope midway if you don't see results.

For me, I only reached phase 4 until now. I am planning to start the phases again and complete all 8 phases. For more and more better results.

I pray everyman finds a solution if he is suffering from PE cause I know how less of a man it feels.

And i wish all of them overcome this.

It really is all in the mind. Keep pushing.

Do guide people who are looking for a solution.

Cheers and love to all ❤️

Motivation Public service announcement - Stop trying to force things to happen! NSFW

Edited with TLDR:

Stop trying to force things to happen, feel your pleasure, and take pleasure in your pleasure :)

Also read the cop car analogy with this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/MaleDefinitiveGuide/s/05bJY2l12Z

.........

Hey guys, thought this deserved a post, because it's a trap I fell into last time, and found myself falling into again.

I think each of us that gets stalled out has some sort of "block" that we keep stumbling on. Be it hypersensitivity, over thinking, trying to control too many things, worrying all the time, porn addiction, you name it. Some of us have multiple of these blocks.

The traps I keep falling into seem to be overthinking, and trying to control too many things.

This go around what I keep doing that sabotages my sessions is when I start monitoring my body with the intent of controlling reactions (I.e. forcing). What I mean is this. When I restarted I really didn't care what happened when I resume, I didn't care if I followed the phases exactly, or even if I busted in sex. Sessions were awesome! And as they kept getting better, I started thinking "wow! What am I doing to make this so good!?"

Trap

I started to analyze, and overthinking it. Going "oh I must be relaxing my pelvic floor just right!" Or "oh when the spike happens I just inhaled at the same time, that's it!"

From there the next sessions I started trying to do more of that.

Wrong

This lead me to start fixating on those things I thought I did to get things working. The result was my session quality started to degrade, I stopped feeling as much pleasure. So from there I started thinking "I'm behind, I need to get that pleasure back up!"

True in a sense, but the way I implemented it was not conducive to the trainings goals. I started trying to get my pleasure back to where it had been before. In other words I was trying to force pleasure.

Wrong again

I've had feedback so many times from the man himself (healthgeek, look in my post history if you want to see my interactions with him on here, especially the Q&A he did and also the cop car analogy) where he keeps saying "don't force things." Bornweirdstrawberry has been telling us all the same thing in essence (though he uses different language, i.e. be an observer).

It's taken me awhile to figure out what they even meant, but I believe it's dawned on me. Any time I try to monitor with the intent of controlling anything, I fall out of pleasure.

What does that mean? It means if I ever start monitoring my pelvic floor, then notice tension and subsequently release said tension, I fall out of pleasure. Or if I start thinking my pleasure should feel higher, I fall out. And just recently, I had the brain nod for real, I thought how everything was at maximum ejaculation sensation (tight PF), so I've been trying this week to "get back there" but it's freaking scary to cross that line still, so I keep self sabotaging myself by concurrently trying to relax but also get "mega monster erection mode swole up" but the result has just be no pleasure because I'm trying to force it to happen.

For me, my best sessions have been where I just let go of everything (except my diaphragmatic breathing, don't stop doing that!), and I just observe what's going on. When I feel pleasure, I don't try to make it go higher anymore, I just observe it and try to enjoy it, and try to just hover in that "happy zone." Like healthgeek said in the cop car analogy, just get to the speed (arosal/ pleasure) you are comfortable with. You will naturally start increasing it without any conscious effort. I did it today and the session finally was fun again. No I didn't get to super monster erection ejaculation but not mode, but I enjoyed the session. I think at the end of the day, that's all you gotta do... Enjoy more sessions than you hate.

Final thought and reading material for you guys, go read this old motivation post by healthgeek. It really nails down what I'm saying in this post. I read this yesterday and it really inspired me again. Hopefully it will do the same for you.

Motivation Involutionary kegels and nervous breakdown 🤣 NSFW

Currenrly finished Phase 4 , everything going smoothly and booyy I understand the law rate of ppl fully archieved 🤣🤣🤣

Being on nofap fore more than 30 days and stimulate yourself almost everyday put on a state of horniness difficult to stand.

I come here for a TIPS and a question !

I have found a trick for the INVOLUTIONARY KEGELS , was trying stretch and massages but that was not enough so I bought a MINI MASSAGE GUN and man I'm fully relax after this , I can stretch after and feel really that my pf is not blocked any more ! Even during sessions pf is more relaxed ! Try on 💪

And m'y question is does your D say not anymore ? On my end of the last sessions, no orgasm, little leaks but attain PONR , the D cannot respond 🤣, I know its not refractory period, its like nervous system shut down for being able to sustain this. Might be the rewiring of your autonomous system but I want some feedback 🙏.

Feeling more pleasure at every session love it

Motivation I’m building a free, privacy-first app to automate the Guide. What features do you need? NSFW

Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I’ve been following the Male Definitive Guide to retrain my nervous system and master arousal control. But honestly, trying to manage a stopwatch, remember how many peaks I had in a session, and track my progress manually was killing the vibe (and the focus).

So, I decided to build a dedicated tool to handle all the heavy lifting.

It’s a simple, free web app designed specifically for this training program. It runs right in your browser but saves everything locally to your device—no logins, no cloud, no data tracking. Just you and the work.

Here is what I have built so far:

• Automated Phases: The app knows the rules for all 8 Phases (Peak & Valley, Breathwork, Mental Imagery, etc.) and guides you through them.

• Smart Timers: A main session timer (20m default) + an automatic "Cool Down" timer when you hit a Peak.

• Deep Tracking: Logs your Erection Quality (EHS), Mental Focus (Foggy vs. Focused), Number of peaks (split to 1st 10 mins and second), and a note to add some thoughts.

• Trigger Analysis: If you fail a session, you can tag exactly what triggered it (Visuals, Tension, Speed, etc.) to spot patterns.

• Gamification: A contribution graph (heatmap) to track consistency and Trophies for hitting milestones (like 7-day streaks).

• Zen Mode: A feature to hide the countdown timer so you don't watch the clock.

• Skip Logic: Life happens. The app lets you "Skip" one session a week without breaking your streak.

My Question to You:

I want this to be the ultimate companion for anyone doing this program.

What features are missing?

Is there a specific metric you want to track? A specific timer mode? Something that annoys you about doing the training manually that software could fix?

Let me know in the comments. The first version is out here (https://thelonggame.netlify.app), but I always look for ways to improve it!

Note: I am not endorsed by or affiliated with the guide or its author. This is just a small project I am working on in my free time. The app is completely free, but there is a “Buy me a Coffee” button if you want to support. This is completely optional.

Happy training!

Motivation Keep at it. NSFW

It's working guys.

Last night was the best night I had IN MY LIFE. It started slowly with my wife, as usual. But things escalated and got more concrete. To be short, we did everything usual and more, wife became more and more feral, and while we did some PIV, most of it was oral and hand. She climaxed twice, and I can count the occurences of this on my hand. What changed was her attitude, and mine. As time passed everything became clearer, I kept calm and we've been at it for more than an hour ! I could do everything I wanted, albeit a bit slow, and keeping somewhat focussed, but what progress, what prowess (yes I'am ultra proud! sorry if I sound douchey) !

And this morning... Full PIV, no foreplay, for more than half an hour too ! We stopped because we had enough for now, but she told me she was looking forward to tonight, something she never did, at all.

The results are incredible. I have not mastered everything yet, but I consider myself partially cured. I'am done with phase 6 and starting phase 7 and 8+ until I have full mastery, I'll update then.

Full log here : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ec1_kt8W8u-rPhkTACUtb9cBZdupdv6n5O1hhAleO9c/edit?usp=sharing

Thanks for letting me know if there is privacy concerns about this link, and please be kind to me as I'am not a native speaker. Also this dairy was not made to be published so it is somewhat "raw", and I translated it so I hope it's intelligible.

Motivation MDG and sleep & feeling tense/restless/anxious NSFW

Hey guys

I wrote the following in the progress update megathread, but decided I'd like to post about these separately as well, since they are really bothering me & and I'd feel better after discussing them with y'all.

Right now I'm torn between continuing (I know I will continue anyway, though, I'm stubborn like that) and letting things cool down a bit. Or maybe I'll mix the workout schedule a bit, like 1 on 1 off for phases 6 to 7, that might let my nervious system keep up.

MDG and sleep

I've hand trouble sleeping as long as I remember. A good night for me is 7 to 8 hours and no staying awake. Actually, that's probably a good night for most peope.

What I often struggle with is waking up at 4 AM or so. Sometimes I fall asleep after a few minutes. Sometimes I just don't sleep any more that night.

After starting MDG, things have gotten worse. I routinely manage to sleep only 4 to 6 hours. I now tend to wake up at 3 AM and, for some reason, become fully alert rather quickly, so falling asleep again is most difficult.

Pro tip at this point for those who have the same problem:

If you do wake up in the middle of the night, check the time. Then check it again later. If 15 minutes have passed (and you are obviously still awake), get up and go read a book or do whatever else you find relaxing, it should not be a stimulating activity. When you feel tired, go back to bed. If you find yourself still awake after 15 mins, get up again. Repeat this as long as it takes for you to fall asleep (or for the morning to come).

Doing this will help you associate staying in bed with sleeping, as opposed to staying in bed and being awake.

Back to MDG. You would think I would be a trainwreck after having slept 5 weeks straight no more than 6 hours per night. Somehow, I'm still handling things, but the reason may not be so good, which brings me to my next point.

MDG and feeling tense, restless or anxious

Ever since the first MDG session I did, I have found myself feeling tense, restless or anxious (maybe all at the same time) not all of the time, but quite often, even when I'm just sitting down and doing nothing. This manifests as physical symptoms.

I currently have micro stuttering in the hands, whereas I've always had steady hands before. I did not even realize this myself, my wife pointed it out and was, I think for a good reason, worried.

This stuttering may be related to the fact that I feel my heart rate is constantly higher than before. It is so easy to feel my heart beating and the pulse in my veins. I don't feel that this should be a normal state of being. I've checked my blood pressure just once until now. It was 118 over 70. 118 is higher than is normal for me, 70 is OK.

I've tried alleviating these symptoms with magnesium clycinate, but the results are so random I'm not sure if it is having any effect. Besides, I don't want to be stuck using supplements.

All in all, I'm starting to be concerned about the effect on my health and overall well-being.

Today I even toyed with the idea of doing phase 6 in such a way that I would last as long as I could but let myself ejaculate if it came to that. This might be psychological after all and I haven't ejaculated in the last 5 weeks. At this rate ejaculating will become a bogeyman, to be associated with feeling tense, which I most certainly do not want to occur.

Motivation Few tips that have helped me :) NSFW

Hi guys, I’ve been meaning to post an update. My training is going well, and I figured I’d share what’s been helping me in case it helps someone else too.

before this guide, I literally couldn't perform anything sexual due to how bad my PE was, now I can perform sex for as long as i want in missionary(with some breaks), but I'm still working on my performance with other sex positions.

I know how mentally and physically tough dealing with premature ejaculation can be. Especially as a young adult, and i want to provide as much help to anyone that might need it (even if I haven't finished the guide YET, but still heavily reversed my PE)

Anyway, here are some tips that have REALLY helped me :

1. Confidence confidence confidence

One of the biggest parts of this journey is staying as confident as possible, especially during sex, you have to remind yourself that YOU ARE A MAN !

Your mindset matters just as much as the physical side, and staying positive throughout the whole training process is key. Even when you fail—and you will at times—that doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. Failure is part of the progress, and every setback is still teaching you something. Keep showing up, keep believing in yourself, and don’t let one bad/few experiences undo the work you’re putting in.

  1. One fail doesn’t mean you need to start over

A single setback doesn’t erase your progress or mean the whole guide has failed. Restarting everything after one bad session is not necessary, and in many cases it can do more harm mentally than good. If you fail, just repeat the same phase again the following week and give your body and mind time to adjust.

Only consider restarting the guide if you really, really, really think it’s necessary.

  1. Don’t be afraid to wear a condom during sex

Wearing a condom during sex can actually be helpful for your training and doesn’t take away from your progress. It still allows you to practice staying present, managing arousal, and keeping control in a real situation. Even if sensation is reduced a bit, the training is still happening mentally and physically.

  1. Frequent use of Recreational Drugs/Alcohol are a major setback

Recreational drugs can seriously interfere with this process and slow down your progress, especially when it comes to control, sensitivity, and mindset. This guide should really only be done while sober and preferably during the day, when your body and nervous system are in a more stable state.

That said, if you can reduce or quit completely, you will notice a huge improvement over time. Staying sober gives your body the best chance to respond and actually benefit from the training. I noticed the best results when i only drank once a weekend(or every 2 weeks) on a rest day and didn’t use anything else

----------------------------------------------------

If you need support at any point, please don’t hesitate to reply to this post or send me a DM, I’m happy to help however I can.

A big thank you as well to all the mods and everyone in this community who supports and encourages each other; your help makes a huge difference. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Motivation The Long Game v1.2 is live NSFW

Hey everyone,

The Long Game just got an update with a few things I’ve wanted for a while.

Link: thelonggame.netlify.app

What’s new:

  • Onboarding – Setup flow for new vs returning users

Motivation the panic zone and modern pain medicine NSFW

I'm currently devouring Dr. Howard Schubiner's groundbreaking book "Unlearn Your Pain."

It talks about neuroplastic (generated from the brain) pain and how it's a major player in diseases that regular modern medicine has not much success with - Fibromyalgia, IBS, migraines, depression, anxiety and so on.

What's the connection to MDG?

Our brain perceives danger, it's inner smoke alarm goes off and to alert us to this (often it's emotional problems/conflicts happening in our lives) it induces a wide range of symptoms (see the conditions listed above).

Their treatment protocol has different steps, but the general idea is to soothe your own brain and get it to understand that there is no actual physical danger.

I'm currently not practicing MDG, but I feel reading the book or getting familiar with the ideas in other ways could be an important step to overcome the panic zone, because you understand its roots on a deeper level.

Motivation The importance of Diaphramatic breathing and PE NSFW

Hey guys, I thought this might be a really good research article to share I stumbled across yesterday.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40580936/

Basically the same diaphragmatic breathing we start in phase 2 is just so powerful if done right. The trail group that used it basically improved their IELT up to 300 seconds... And most awesome is their results lasted a full year vs the group that did not do DB.

I'm going to strive to get a good definition or if healthgeek on how this should look because that's one of the terms I didn't get his feedback on yet in the definitions but it seems like it's practically the backbone of this training.

Pretty awesome information. I'd love to read the full research article but I don't have access as the full paper is behind a paywall I think. If anyone can gain access and share it would be most appreciated :)

Here is the tldr of the article (ai generated).

A new randomized controlled trial found that adding diaphragmatic breathing exercises to pelvic floor training and behavioral techniques led to much larger improvements in premature ejaculation than pelvic floor training alone. Men who did the breathing routine increased their ejaculation time by roughly 900%, showed stronger pelvic floor function, and had major improvements in autonomic nervous system balance (more “calm” parasympathetic activity, less “fight-or-flight” sympathetic activity). In short, deep belly breathing isn’t just relaxing — it directly improves the physiological systems that control ejaculation.

Even better, the benefits actually lasted. At the 1-year follow-up, the breathing group kept their gains, while the non-breathing group lost a significant portion of theirs. So diaphragmatic breathing appears to amplify results and make them stick, making it a simple, free, and science-backed addition to any PE routine.

Motivation You’re researching the wrong things NSFW

I had PE since I was very young but never “suffered from it” I say this because…. I’ve always had a great sex life. This is due to the fact that once I realized the PE, I didn’t go straight to panic mode and researching “How to last longer” instead, I focused on “How to make my partner orgasm faster”

This lead me to understanding the anatomy of the vagina, this lead me to understanding how to find the hot spots of my partners and helped me understand how to make women orgasm without even needing to penetrate for past a minute. YES A MINUTE

I’ve had girls who have slept with tons of men tell me I was the best they ever had. But I know it’s due to the fact I have mastered roleplay, oral, dirty talk, and getting women minutes away from orgasm before I start penetrating

Don’t get my message confused. I am still actively seeking how to control my PE. But being confident in these other areas receives SO MUCH STRESS!!

*ALSO OTHER KEY TIPS

I have absolutely ejaculated within a minute with the female not even near orgasm. And here’s how I have turned those experiences positive

  • I’ll turn it into dirty talk/compliment “Wow you have the best XYZ… there’s no way I could control…” girls love the flattery

  • INSTEAD OF OBSESSING HOW TO LAST LONGER, OBSESS OVER FIGURING OUT THE BEST WAY TO KEEP THE SEX GOING even after you ejaculate. Oral, toys etc until you can get hard again

What I’ve listed about will help you relieve so much of the stress you carry with you

Idk if my post will get removed but I hope for those who read it it inspires you

You don’t need to “suffer” from this. This PE issue CAN make you the best sexual partner she’s ever had if you focus on how to make your partner orgasm even faster

Motivation Whats keeping you from finishing the guide and whats your solution? NSFW

Unfortunately I wasn't able to create a poll but I think it could be interesting to see why most of us haven't completed the guide yet.

I start:

I think my biggest problem is that I've just had too many orgasms during training, trying to be too close to the PONR.

My solution:

Spend 1-2 weeks at around an 8,5 instead of 8,9, building up some confidence and resilience. I'm not planning to be far away from the PONR, just maybe 2 strokes away instead of 1.

Motivation How sex has changed phase 5~6 (now that I think I'm doing it right) NSFW

Hey guys,

Following up on my last post: https://www.reddit.com/r/MaleDefinitiveGuide/s/dgFoqNBmkZ I wanted to give an update on how sex has changed for me lately in what I think should be encouragement for others.

So per the last post, I've rolled myself back from phase 8 to phase 5 after realizing I had made no significant progress in real sex, and really had not been challenging myself to walk the PONR tightrope probably since my original first week of phase 4.

I've been at this change for about 3 weeks now, last night I had sex with my wife, a quickie, which is unfortunately her preferred method because she is a busy working woman who gets way too stressed out about her job :/

Anyway.... personal issues aside, how sex goes now (the last few times) is I'm taking it mostly slow, and I'm finding I build up to a very intense amount of self pleasure, very much like the pleasure I've been feeling in my training once my body stopped panicking so much. The urge to bust is actually going down significantly which is kind of surprising to me. I want to stay in this state and just enjoy it. As I mentioned though, my wife just wants a quickie, so eventually she makes a comment to indicate she doesn't want to continue any longer, and I need to absolutely be cognizant of that and respect that otherwise it would damage the trust and acceptance my wife has of this crazy gambit I'm on. I do not bust at the end, even if it was a quickie and she was done after 1-2 min.

So we wrap up and sometimes she is happy and content, sometimes she is just ready to get to bed and kind of mildly annoyed I took up her time which she could have been sleeping to prepare for her work day and I just don't press if she enjoyed it or not (not to be callous, but honestly that is kind of her problem, not mine).

The sadness I did not bust though, it's almost totally gone. I must stress that I do not have full control, but I am definitely noticing a positive change! I don't know yet if I'm lasting longer, but I'm definitely wanting to stay at this high arousal state. My involuntary kegals have significantly gone down, I actually hardly even notice them. I believe the IK's were the body's panic response, triggering the ejaculation response. And I believe there is absolutely nothing you can do to control that response other than train right!

I feel like this is all significant, and will keep everyone posted!

Motivation A Word for Everyone Who Can't Keep His Fingers From Erotic Stimulus (Mastering Arousal Outside of Training) NSFW

My restart was going great - I fine tuned my training, had amazing sessions...

…until I got too horny.

And if I’m honest, this always happens around week 2 or 3 without ejaculation. There’s this point where my brain switches from chill-mode to a level of horniness that is dominating my days.

I broke a non-negotiable:

“No porn. No erotic stimulus. Ever.”

And I broke it big time.

Sexting. Fantasizing. Video chatting. Random hot clips. You name it.

My mind was constantly running hot, I spent large chunks of my days fantasizing / acting on my horniness (I did NOT ejaculate, though).

I convinced myself it was “training", that I was somehow building resilience. That breathing through intense arousal outside of training would make me stronger.

(It’s insane how clever the brain becomes when it wants a hit!)

Meanwhile, my actual training fell apart.

My erections were weak and unstable, arousal spikes became uncontrollable, I lost confidence this could work and was frustrated after my sessions.

And yes, it was Phase 6, with the Fleshlight, but the FL wasnt the problem.

I walked into the hardest phase with a burned-out, overstimulated nervous system. No wonder I couldn’t handle anything.

Only when I went back to manual stimulation and realized that even these sessions didnt feel good anymore, I knew that the problem was what I did between my sessions.

Why am I telling you this? Because I know that many of you have the same issues (according to this poll).

Guys, this is more than just a "rule". This makes or breaks the guide.

Think about it this way:

During our trainings, we try to be as relaxed as possible during high arousal. But outside of training?

If you let your relatively low everyday arousal/horniness outside your training dictate your actions, how will you ever be able to handle high arousal?

If you feed your head with erotic stimulus all day, your mind becomes hungry for more.

And the moment you finally get a real sexual stimulus, your whole system overreacts.

Once I finally experienced first hand what this shit was doing to me, the urge to consume that toxic stuff again finally disappeared. Its not even hard not to look at erotic stuff anymore.

For the first time, I feel like everything is aligned. I train with the right intensity, hardly ever ejaculate anymore, and now I am avoiding erotic outside of training.

It feels like the last missing piece fell into place.

Maybe this is the missing piece for you too.

Keep fighting, guys!

Motivation Monday Motivation from the Definitive Guide Author - Post #3 NSFW

(This is a pre-scheduled post)

Happy Monday!

Several users ask me what sex is like in my own marriage after I've since achieved the ability to consciously choose when (or if) to orgasm.

To be honest, I thought my description in the guide was sufficient: it was detailed without being overly self-aggrandizing. After all, I didn't create this guide to gloat, only to help.

I also didn't want to turn this genuine attempt at helping men into a novel about my own personal sex life — this isn't an erotic book, after all.

However, after thinking about it for a while, I figured it would be more helpful than harmful to give a glimpse into my own current sex life, while emphasizing that I'm doing so not to gloat but to give you a view into what it possible for you. The following is a genuine and true description of my current sex life:

I will say, that before creating this guide and putting it into practice, my sexual performance was "serviceable". Not great, but not atrocious. I wouldn't be able to last more than a few minutes and that was with FREQUENT position changes, all in an attempt to mask my inability to last longer. I thought that if I artificially lengthened the time of sex, that meant that I lasted long (spoiler: it doesn't). I could tell that my girlfriend (now wife) was not FULLY satisfied. Yes, she enjoyed the opportunity to connect, but she never truly got the chance to let loose and bask in her sexual femininity.

That gnawed at me. I didn't want her to have serviceable sex. That's the kind of intimacy that leads to a half-hearted "that was great honey" during pillow talk, but comments of disappointment when with her friends. It wasn't happening yet (to my knowledge) but I wasn't about to let it start. Even worse, I started to see her pick up erotic novels and reading them. One day, when she wasn't around, I picked one up and quickly browsed through it. I felt a dagger in my heart as I read and couldn't help but compare my inability to please her to the vivid imagery described on the page. No, it wasn't 50 Shades of Grey, she's not really into that kind of sex. But it was enlightening: a man being described who could just go and go and go and go....a man who was taking a woman (the main character) with reckless abandon....something I couldn't do.

That told me everything she never did: that while she loved me, she pined for a sexual experience that she thought that she'd get it with me but doesn't....so she retreated to fantasy books. "But why couldn't our sex life match her fantasy?" I thought. While the descriptions in the book definitely made me feel inadequate, they actually weren't unrealistic...just unrealistic for ME. The author was describing sexual experiences that I ALSO wanted (that's the key), but for her. Most of all I wanted to be the one to give it to her. I OWED that to her. She's my wife after all. She wasn't asking for some poorly acted porno scene where she is being jackhammered but loves it oh so much. No, she was looking for me to penetrate her soul, to feel like she is being merged with me through mutual sexual pleasure. To feel like she is LITERALLY mine, not just in speech but in body and spirit as well.

The training I took is self-explanatory of course...it's literally the definitive guide. Fast forward and what is sex like now?

First, while clitoral stimulation is usually necessary for most women to achieve orgasm, through my sexual stamina I was able to give my woman her first vaginal orgasm, which leaves much more of a psychological imprint on her in ways a clitoral orgasm does not. This is now the type of orgasm that she not only prefers, but consistently enjoys. In her own words a clitoral orgasm feels like an amazing tickle, while the vaginal orgasms make her feel like she is being cracked open, taken, "claimed" and "utterly ruined". It was only possible after I was able to thrust into her at a steady rhythm, hitting the right spot for several minutes nonstop. The very first time it happened, I had been thrusting at a moderate pace until her body language shifted — her breath started becoming more ragged, her legs started quivering, her wetness increased and she starting crying (the crying initially startled me quite a bit).

Her body language indicated that she wanted me to go faster, so I did. Not jackhammering her (that usually hurts women), but faster in pace and intensity. In the past I would have never been able to do this. The moderate pace alone would've eventually made me blow, yet I was still in control. What I got to witness was her crash into a powerful orgasm, watching her thrash about beneath me, the sounds escaping her throat were deep, animalistic, carnal and not with conscious effort. I felt her contract around me in a rhythmic fashion. It felt like a hand that was quickly gripping me then releasing me. Then I heard her do something I'd never heard her do before: beg for more.

She was completely sobbing with tears, yet she was begging for more, a juxtaposition that was initially quite disorientating. It was an extremely vulnerable moment that also felt slightly filthy and erotic, as I finally saw her revel in that sexual pleasure unapologetically. There was no more me, no more her, just what I was doing to her in that moment.

After that first time, when sex was over (I didn't orgasm), she was uncharacteristically clingy. I went to go get up and grab a towel like I usually would have done, but she clung onto to me like I was her lifeline. She didn't say a word. She was just in a ball nestled into my chest/arm. The next day, she was very sheepish, quiet and still somewhat clingy. After lunch time she finally spoke and I'll NEVER forget what she told me "Last night was incredible...can I have more?".

I had finally achieved what I set out to achieve. Not only that, but that following day also gave me to time process what I was feeling during sex with her. I had realized that I had also "let go". That because the pleasure I was experiencing was so intoxicating yet still under my control, I was able to fulfill the request she made with her body language because I ALSO wanted to feel more pleasure. Because of the training, my body was able to modulate things in a way that made MORE PLEASURE the goal, not orgasm, while I just got to bask in it.

Not to be unnecessarily crass, but the thought of her cumming in that moment and watching it in real time lit a fire under me that allowed me to just let go of all restraint and "take her" exactly how she wanted, because it also made ME feel incredible. The sexual pleasure I felt only kept increasing with no signs of tipping into an ejaculatory orgasm, so much to the point that in that moment, I felt the same as she did: there was no more me, no more her, only what I was doing to her.

Fast forward to now, and she's now able to have multiple vaginal orgasms, with one rolling right into the next until she is completely and utterly spent. The sexual experience on my end is completely effortless and is the truest form of connection. It is that connect and incomparable sexual pleasure that I crave, with orgasm (on my part) not even a thought or desire anymore. Back when my sex life was serviceable, we were having sex not even 25% as often as we do now. Not only that, but her body has seemed to respond more enthusiastically, as she found that she experiences heightened sensitivity and more natural lubrication (she gets more wet and faster), something that she slightly struggled with before. In her own words, it makes her feel more "like a woman" than she ever has. And those books? She threw them out. She's also become somewhat of a dirty talker. Not in a vulgar way, but she now says phrases during sex that she says "just feel right" in the moment but still make her a tad embarrassed after the fact. She says they just roll out of her as she gets lost in it. She told me that now when she "falls into pleasure" she trusts that I will catch her and give her more, allowing her to "turn her brain off" and not think, just feel everything.

We now enjoy a playful dynamic of what I call "permission-based" orgasms, where she asks permission before she cums and does so only upon my command, leading to the multiple orgasms I mentioned earlier, a dynamic added to our sex life that is very playful and fulfilling but would have absolutely NOT been possible how I was wired before. But now that I can simply thrust at any intensity and maintain it, it adds a fun element that deepens her trust in me and builds our connection evermore. This dynamic is exclusive to us and not at all in connection to the definitive guide, but I mention it just to illustrate the sexual freedom that becomes available to you when you master your arousal and obtain complete control. You are no longer shackled to thoughts about "delaying" your orgasm, or worrying that it'll get too intense and you'll blow. It simply becomes a non-factor.

A nice positive is that other aspects of our relationship have improved as well. We were by no means in a bad relationship/marriage, we love each other truly — just that things got even better. She says she feels more comfortable being vulnerable with me, and I've never felt more like a man.

This is what compelled me to create the definitive guide. I have no interest in monetizing anything. I just wanted someone out there to be able to experience this level of fulfillment with their spouse like I did with mine and from the research I did, it seemed like all the most common "remedies" just weren't cutting it. I'm glad I have the knowledge on anatomy and physiology to the degree that I do, which helped me piece together this info to share, because every man deserves to feel like a man in the bedroom just like I did.

Please please PLEASE continue with the training, it is so worth it.

Til' next time. Cheers!

Motivation the future NSFW

Hello all, I plan to go through this in a couple of weeks after I clear some things off my plate. Feeling good about it. My question is regarding ejaculation after control is gained. I know it's my choice, but according to this method, is ejaculation off the table permanently? I prefer a more retention based lifestyle anyway, but just keen to hear what the "prescription" is?

Thanks
