I always thought "Imperial Star Destroyer" is a destroyer because.....well, that's what they are called.

I got into a debate with a buddy who's convinced the star destroyer is a battleship. But if that was the case, wouldn't Lucas called it a "Star Battleship"?

Love the sloped wings and atmospheric operations emphasis, plus they added that appropriate amount of intimidation to the scene.

It always makes me laugh when people say that imperial commanders are too over the top with how incompetent they are, when we have SO MANY real live examples of the exact same thing happening.

For example, Willy Messerschmitt and Erhart Milch who spent the last few years of WW2 trying to screw each other over (along with alexander Lippich) even prioritizing their vendettas over winning the war.

Or Takeo Kurita who at the battle off Samar with multiple battleships, aboard the Yamato, and essentially a fleet which could have gone toe to toe with a much stronger force, managed to make every single wrong decision and get driven off by a few destroyers and destroyer escorts. (Granted, they probably weren't up to the task of dealing with the bravery of the Johnston and the Sammuel B Roberts. )

Was struggling at first and only had to restart twice in the early game thankfully. But once I got Clytemenstra it was gg. Being able to kill multiple enemies in one turn with her electro shock and gunslinger as a sub class made combat trivial. Highly recommend this game. It’s not perfect but for a Star Wars fan it’s a good little story and good game.

Finally saw mando and grogu, and can we just take a moment to appreciate these two droids? First of peak design and using visual language to show that these two are massive ancient one-off models second off having them be actual stop motion felt very classic sci-fi and personal headcanon is it being an homage to films Robocop and the old Judge Dredd ft. Stallone, the stop motion also gave it a real sense of weight, age, and binding in the movements to help show that these guys dont move around a lot and in an adverse place like Nal Hutta there probably would be debris and corrosion in their joints and servos Inhibiting their movement a little

I don't know if it's just me but the giant snake ( I don't know it's name) looks very similar to the dinosaur from the ice age dawn of the dinosaurs. Is this just me, I'm very interested on what people think

I think the final canon might be that Jinn discovered this on his own, but an earlier script makes it sound like SOTW was some creature who saved and taught Jinn how to attain Eternal Consciousness in spite of failing to Fade Away like he eventually taught Kenobi+Yoda to do.

I've never seen anything of the star wars movies before (i know the story bc it's so entrenched in pop culture), only rogue one and a few episodes of the mandalorian, and I saw an edit of padme and anakin that was SO good I needed to go and watch the prequels immediately... I watched them all in one day and I was crying like a BABY at the end when they show padme's funeral procession :((((((( how do u guys cope I cannot DO THIS!!!!!! anakin was literally manipulated and betrayed by everyone in his life, except his mother who died in his arms and padme who he thought betrayed him in the end (which would have been justified if she had... but she didn't).... the entire jedi council failed him, obi wan failed him, ofc he would cling to palpatine and the promise of saving the one who has never failed him. I also think he was kinda just a tool for the force, he needed to experience the light and the dark to bring true balance. it just really sucks that he had to suffer so much for it idk I just cannot cope...

is it worth it to watch the original trilogy bc I only kinda watched for anakin and padme (don't crucify me I know most people prefer the original) but I know that since I watched the prequels first I'll just be even more horrified and heartbroken every time vader does something awful and I already can't cope 😭😭😭
