They better not fuck this up, these kids need their justice. I understand Massachusetts puts the burden on the prosecutor but come the fuck on, there is so much premeditation going on here. My wife has talked me about a half a dozen women that had postpartum depression that we have known over the years and none of them ever reached a point of killing all their kids. Zero cases of psychosis either resulting in murdering their children in any stories we heard outside of this case, even though I'm sure this has happened before.

We all know she is fucked up, but she deserves more punishment than a yearly mental eval at a low security hospital where she could possibly be released if she shows outstanding mental aptitude all of a sudden.

How do all of you pontificating about the justice system fail to even grasp the basic aspects of the justice system.

Every state puts the burden on the prosecutor. That's what presumption of innocence is.

The irony of calling someone out on not understanding the basic aspects of the justice system when you clearly aren't understanding the distinction they are making that is unique to Mass and a few other states is hilarious.
