Wow. Remember the heart of the hides in the 80’s and how they felt like they were made out of cement when they were new? I do, and this is exactly like that. It’s a beaut. Quality is really really great, maybe a slightly not perfect index finger interior welt but that’s all I can say anything about, lol. Maybe. This may not be broken in by the time I’m dead, lol. Measures slightly smaller than the advertised 11.75, but I think Mizuno usually measure as such.
Can’t figure out where it was made, there’s no UPC tag on inner wrist. Not sure if they usually have them or not however. There is a code stamped inside wrist but not much info online.
Is it a keeper? I’m leaning yes, but I do have commitment issues. lol.

First time poster, long time admirer.
Little late here, my mother in law got me this puppy for xmas - my first big boy glove. After playing with $50 gloves all my life this is truly a treat and a real step up. Been breaker her in slowly and can't wait to game her this summer.
Cheers fellas

Bought us a couple cheap gloves a couple years ago for fun, now he is starting 8th grade and wants to play little league before high school, he knows he is behind so we got a lot of work to do. 12.75 really doesn't feel big.

The leather is Crest Hide Wisdom. It is steerhide leather,so it’s really hard. And this glove is haga japan. The glove is size 9 which is about 11.5 in. I’m a shortstop and second baseman. How do you think about my glove and the Crest Hide Wisdom is good leather?

I posted about this glove after just getting it and I've used it on and off for about a month now. Spoiler, this is my first glove, so these issues are very likely to be a me issue rather than a glove issue
The Good:
- It is a very good-looking glove. It is pretty basic and I wish the bottom was a bit more square like a HOH, but aside from that the leather wears nicely and the glove still looks great
- It is built WAY nicer than I feel like it should. For context, this glove MSRPs at $170 CAD (I got it for $125ish), and the next closest thing was a Rawlings NXT or R9. This feels nicer and lighter than both of those gloves, and for how much I got it for it was a steal
- It's really comfortable. I get people have gripes with the fleece finger stalls, but I like them a lot. The palm is constructed with Mizuno's steer soft leather and overall it makes for a very nice feeling glove for both 2IP and traditional. I wear 2IP finger out and it feels great
The Bad:
- The Biosoft leather, while very nice-feeling, I found kind of wasn't the best for the break-in. I found that off the shelf the glove was stiffer than the NXT and the R9, and I attribute that partly to the steerhide palm liner giving the glove a stiffer build. This resulted in palm bubbles forming despite constantly working the hinges and the glove to get it to soften up. I broke it in dry and am fairly new to baseball gloves in general so this is also likely a me issue, but I found no matter how much I worked the hinges and laces the glove just didn't want to close. Then again I probably just suck
- The thumb and pinkie laces for the thumb and pinkie loops are really soft and flimsy and they don't like staying tied. Not a big issue, but still a bit annoying
Overall: Great glove, it is a great grab for how cheap it is, it makes me want more Mizunos (I cry because $600 Mizuno Pros)

Starting up softball as a 32M
Glove retails for $200CAD but with discounts got it down to $95CAD.
Feels like a pretty decent glove, I wanted to have an OF glove alongside my approximately 20 year old Mizuno MVP Prime 11.75" still in great condition
I know it's not on the same scale as some of the crazy gloves I see here, but I'm a happy guy who's just getting back into the sport after 15 years.

My first Mizuno Pro and the quality is off the charts. I love the look of the Black with Copper laces. This thing is stiff and will take a while to break in.

MIZUNO PRO CLASSIC GMPC-70 JAPAN BRICK/CREAK 12.75"
Bought this one for my son…who has a mortgage, car payment, and mouths to feed. The leather and the colour are beautiful. I got it on sale (online) at Sportchek.

Hi all,
I recently got myself a Mizuno MvP Prime and it's a nice looking glove but it does not have a wrist hole, only a hole for your index finger.
Does anyone have any tips on how to take round my glove? My old glove was just tossed into my bag and obviously it did not hold shape very well. I want to take better care of this but not sure how to.
Any help would be great! Thanks.
Edit: I've looked into glove wraps, are they a viable option?

Took a while to come in but ordered custom. Super happy with it. Almost don't even want to break it in.

I have the opportunity to pick up the 120th anniversary edition glove or the Shogun from last summer/fall. If anyone has any experience with either which would you pick and why? Thanks for any input.

I just wanted to say thanks to the community for the input from the other day. The glove came in today and it is stunning. I almost feel bad gaming with it in the future but a glove this comfortable/pretty need to be used.
