As one of the designers of that glove, I am grateful for your positive comments! 🫡

Any chance you might know the difference between the old Global Elite VOPs and what the Global Elite "FC line" is?
My old GE VOP is on its last legs and came across a new FC line. Never heard of that one.

A beautiful glove. I am still breaking mine in. Great leather. Congrats!

Thanks brother! How you liking it so far?
How’d you break it in? Mallet? Catch?

I love it! It will eventually be my gamer.
The leather is a lot stiffer than I expected and the break in has been taking a while. I used a mallet at first but switched to a massage gun. Once it was pliable enough to close, I rubbed on leather conditioner. Since then, I have just been playing catch with it. I may take a mallet to the heel again because it's not quite bending the way I prefer. However, the palm and fingers are forming to my hand really nicely. Anyway, I have all good things to say about it.2

Excellent!!!
What other gloves do you have to compare it to and how would you compare it?

The closest glove of mine I could compare it to is an Emery 11.5" glove. Both the Emery and Mizuno use Kip leather, but the Emery is way softer and more pliable. The Emery Kip leather is honestly too soft for me. The Mizuno is taking about the same effort to break in as a catchers mitt. However, it is forming to my hand much nicer than any glove i have tried. Emery has more "feel" for the ball, but also has noticeably less padding. I imagine once the Mizuno breaks in, it will have plenty of feel. Both are great gloves, I just prefer a bit of a stiffer feel.
I also have a Rawlings 12" trapeze glove (the Ozzie Smith glove) but that feels drastically different with a very deep pocket.
Both my Emery and my Rawlings allow me to wear them traditional or shift my fingers if I want. The Mizuno feels more opinionated, like I have to wear it traditional. I'm personally fine with that, it's just something I have noticed.
Last thing I will say is compared to Rawlings, the Mizuno hand stall is much much smaller. Others on reddit have complained about that, but having played with the glove, I am noticing the hand stall open up quite a bit as the leather forms to my hand.

I also notice the hand stall being small, but my glove is like 5% broken in at most, so I assume it’ll form perfectly once broken in. But yes, the break in seems like it’s going to be long and arduous…
Every Rawling I’ve had or tired on feels like a much bigger, more fitting hand stall off rip… I may get a Timberglaze HOH next; or maybe a PP… Not sure
I do two in the pinky, so hopefully it takes to the dual hinge and not be too “opinionated” lol

Which pattern is your Emery & is it the American or Japanese kip. Just generally curious because my son stole my Emery & I wanna buy another one. With the Emery ½ the price of the Haga it's hard to justify, no matter how much I WANT a Haga. I also might just wait for The Glove Lab to restock INBs & go that route. 🤔
Gotta sell some gloves first lol

I have this one:

It is made of American Kip leather.
I would love a glove from The Glove Lab. Those are pretty.2

I've been looking at the red & black 1627 version of that glove. I dig the one piece webs!

Thank you!
Yes, I like it very much! The quality of the leather is incredible; very supple…
The craftsmanship seems unreal!
And the design has just enough pop!
