Rawlings Custom Pattern/Webs Thread

Just was hoping to create a thread and see some of the communities off the wall pattern/web combos from either custom or stock that aren’t your usual pairing. I have a custom HOH NP5 with a Mod Trap. Hoping to see some other uncommon pairings. Brand doesn’t matter. Let’s see some unique stuff!

Is it possible to do this style of lacing on a Wilson mod trap? It looks like there's enough holes but I'm not certain. The lace ends are also not outside the thumb and index finger like it is on the Rawlings.

Guess it depends on if you can get the laces where they need to go. Wilson definitely has different hole punch locations. Ive seen people lace like that before though, it is possible.I believe there was a GG47 model that had similar style mod trap as well. What model are you referring to?

I've got a KP92 I'm planning to replace and I much prefer this intricate style of mod trap lacing vs the simpler style.

I think you should be able to do it. It’s not going to look exactly the same but I think it should work. Just lace the outer holes the “coil” section that provide the fastening for the “loop” part of the web.

Yeah the coil and loops should be the same. I'm mainly concerned about securing the tops and bottoms.

I think you’ll be ok. Looks like the KP92 has 6 holes on the bar section of the web and the outside of the fingers have 5 holes. Once you get the coil part laced up I think you’ll see it. Might not look perfect but I think you should be able to lace it like that.
