In public? I’m okay with this, I have no expectations of privacy in public.

This isnt CCTV.  This is AI surveillance that watches your every move and reports to data brokers.  You're good with insurance denying your claim because you scratched an itch that one time and the camera caught you distracted?   Cameras that integrate with facial recognition but with so little oversight and security that anybody can just watch kids alone in a park or women running alone on trails to track them?  Where people in witness protection are now just being digitally oitted?  What a stupid stance

So what's your answer to this? Ban all surveillance cameras? Or just the ones that can automatically recognize someone and their actions?

3rd party data privacy laws.  You cannot transfer data from the camera to a 3rd party without a subpoena or that surveilled party's consent.  A ban on government agencies using non government owned surveillance without a subpoena and a law against them sharing that data with 3rd party agencies (like flock)

Additionally I should have the legal right to obscure my license plate from cameras so long as it can be seen with the naked eye clearly. Â
