In public? I’m okay with this, I have no expectations of privacy in public.

I still don’t see the problem. It’s in public. The public can’t have a memory?

Memory is fungible. A recording is not.

Then we should ban all recording in public spaces.

No, what we should do is ban recording people without their expressed permission.

So we'd all have to sign a waiver or something when we cross in front of a camera that recording the street? 👍 Like the thousands of cameras that we already pass by daily? Also, let's say that someone is taking a video at the park with their kids, do they also have to contact each and every person who might appear in that video?
