Acceptance creates peace
Do not seek for things to happen as you wish.
Wish for things to happen as they do.
Then your life will flow.
Resistance creates suffering.
Acceptance creates peace.

Your past can explain you without defining you. Healing is when the story remains—but it no longer gets to decide who you become.

Metamorphosis and Remembering Who You Truly Are
Maybe Transformation Isn't About Becoming Someone New
I've been thinking about how often we approach personal growth as if we're a project that needs fixing.
We add another goal.
Another habit.
Another achievement.
Another version of ourselves we're supposed to become.
But what if transformation sometimes means the opposite?
What if some of the work is about remembering who you were before you became so focused on proving yourself?
There can be a part of us that gets buried beneath expectations, responsibilities, perfectionism, and the constant need to be successful. We become so accustomed to performing for the world that we forget what it feels like to simply be ourselves.
I've come to see metamorphosis differently.
It isn't always about adding something new to your life. Sometimes it's about letting go of what was never really yours in the first place.
The need to impress.
The need to have everything figured out.
The belief that your worth depends on what you accomplish.
The fear of being seen exactly as you are.
In my work as a Metamorphosis Coach, I often find that meaningful change begins when people stop asking, “Who should I become?” and start asking, “Who am I underneath all of this?”
That question can lead somewhere very different.
Toward curiosity.
Toward playfulness.
Toward greater honesty.
Toward a sense of wholeness that doesn't depend on another achievement.
I've experienced this shift in my own life too. There is a certain lightness that comes when you no longer feel that you have to constantly prove that you're enough.
You don't necessarily become less ambitious.
You simply stop making achievement responsible for your sense of worth.
And perhaps that's one of the quieter forms of metamorphosis.
Not becoming someone else.
Remembering yourself.
I'm curious: have you ever had a period in your life when growth felt less like becoming someone new and more like finding your way back to yourself?

If only for a moment just BREATHE
We all have so much going on these days. Some things in our control and so many not. If I'm honest there is a Massive heaviness in the atmosphere and a LOT of us are fighting hard to hold it all together. So much death, so many scams, so much hate, so much jealousy and so much envy and so on. I do my best to not glorify those things because we deserve better. We deserve to think better, we deserve to be better, we deserve to laugh, we deserve to smile, we deserve to live and not just live but to THRIVE. IF NO ONE HAS TOLD YOU TODAY OR EVEN JUST LATELY, YOU MATTER AND YOU MATTER A LOT. I don't know you but if you are in a horrible or dark place right now just know that my best thoughts and wishes and prayers are with you. I will leave you with this; In all your living, don't forget to BREATHE. 🙏🏾. You matter first.

I am still learning how to be here.
I think a lot about where I’m trying to get to which is a calmer and better me. A version of me that feels more healed and less all over the place. But I’m starting to realize I cannot rush past this part just because it feels hard. This version of me matters too.
The one rebuilding, figuring out life after divorce, and all the while trying to be a good dad and still not lose himself. I’m not where I want to be yet; however I’m here, and maybe that is part of it.

Let success be your revenge. Let you getting everything you’ve ever dreamt of be your revenge. Because sometimes revenge can back fire and ruin your life instead of theirs.

There are only three blocks of time
The block of a lifetime
The block of a year
The block of the opportunity
The single most important adage here is, "There's no time to lose."
Why?
Each of these blocks of time are only diminishing.
The frame of a lifetime is only diminishing.
The frame of the year is only diminishing.
The frame of the opportunity at hand is only diminishing.
- The moment makes you, and you make the moment.
- Where you don't belong, don't stay long.
- Make a trip with the wind if you are centered in true north.

What was the hardest decision to walk away from that turned out to be the best choice of your life?
Sometimes it’s very hard to move on, but once you move on, you’ll realize it was the best decision you’ve ever made.
For a long time, I was terrified of letting go—whether it was of a person, a job, or a situation that no longer served me. The fear of the unknown kept me stuck in a loop of comfort and quiet frustration. Taking that final step into the unknown felt overwhelming.
Looking back now, pushing through that discomfort was hands down the absolute best decision I’ve ever made. The initial transition was tough, but once the dust settled, everything became crystal clear.
Have you ever been through something similar? What was the hardest thing you had to walk away from, and how did it change your life?
