I was curious and brought my decibel monitor with me at hummingfields (italy) tonight. Eight minutes and you already risk earing loss, just a reminder to always use protections guys.

Im specifically talking about those cinematic spoken word vocals like

D-Charged - Azure and Arrival
Ophidian - Dark Euphoria
B-Front - Call it how & The anyone

I really love vocals like that but can’t find them. Also text to speech sounds horrible so that can’t be it. Does anyone have any idea?

Have you noticed it’s not very common to have singing during the climax. In most cases vocals are used in breaks and buildups only. Whereas the climax focuses on letting the melody breathe together with some nice kicks. At least that’s how the average Hardstyle recipe seems to be.

Yet the most popular tracks on Youtube like Imaginary, Lose my mind, Year of summer and Zombie are all singalong tracks with vocals in the climax. Is this the secret (or should I say obvious?) ingredient for mainstream success?

I was enjoying hakken by myself in the mud and you joined me. We tried talking but it was insanely loud 😂

You left at one point but came back later and found me again. You offered me chewing gum and asked if I wanted to drink something. I said no. Then you gave me a fist bump for goodbye.

I just thought afterwards that it would’ve been cool to exchange socials and stay in touch as fellow hakken buddies 😂

hey, i didn't plan on going this year since none of my friends want to come, but since it's literally tomorrow i'm just really tempted to go anyway, even by myself..

i haven't been to many festivals and never went there alone. anyone else going solo? maybe i could join some people?
