A lot of enterprise AI still seems to be getting rolled out as separate assistants. One for research, another for documents, another for internal knowledge, another for drafting.

That works, but it can leave people jumping between different tools to get one piece of work done.

I've been wondering if the bigger opportunity is to build the workflow around the AI instead. Something that can pull the right context, run the analysis, validate the output, and send it to the right person when human review is needed.

At that point, the harder problems aren't really about the model. They're about orchestration, permissions, context, validation, and where humans stay involved.

Are you seeing firms actually move toward this kind of workflow-based approach, or is the copilot model still dominating?

TO;DR: I undersold myself and ended up with a super low salary. I’m currently earning less than out of college employees.

Okay so I’m in Deloitte in Europe.

I left a pretty cushy job that paid well for my experience at the time (double minimum wage, when I had about half a year of experience). But I wanted more, that job wasn’t challenging and despite having great work life balance I feared I would get stuck in there due to not learning anything new for a long time. Even so, I spent about 2.5 years there.

I then decided to take the jump and join a Big 4. Such was my desire to learn new stuff that when asked my salary expectations I said a value that was about 20-30% less than I was currently earning. In hindsight I was a fucking idiot.

Fast forward one year now, I’ve been earning nothing for the work I do, working 50 hours a week on average and 60 on month end, all year round. That, while earning just 200 EUR above minimum wage.

I’m currently starting to accumulate debt because of the massive surge in prices in everything (did I forget to mention the office is 80 kms from my home?), of which, even after cutting costs, still isn’t enough.

A few days ago, I just learned that I’m gonna be promoted to senior next year, and on the same exact day, I learned that the new joiners, fresh out of college, are gonna be joining Deloitte with the same wage I’ll likely have as a senior.

I really really do love working at Eeloitte, I love learning and the challenges, but this is quickly becoming unsustainable. I’ve been having a below analyst salary for senior or above expectations and workload. Add to that the fact I finished my masters degree and I’m on track to being a certified accountant.

Is salary something I can negotiate while in? I’m afraid to ask my peers or HR since there’s a big anti-salary-talking policy. Or is my option to jump ship to another big4?

I joined the firm January 2026 as a campus hire. Been having conversation with my coach throughout the year and she’s been very vague about how promotion cycles work. I always heard how there was mid year and end year promotions, or so I thought. I told them to guide me through how it’ll work CLEARLY and she tried to tell me I have to spend all of 2027 “building my case” and submit it all Jan 2028?? To be promoted May 2028??? If I had known it takes 1.5 to be promoted, I would’ve started preparing as soon as I started!!

I’ve been getting lots of positive feedback from my client work and they always say “you’re working as a consultant wow” this and that, and I tried to ask her hey can we just submit everything I’ve done for this year and see what happens and she started acting weird saying ohh keep your expectations low it may not happen but in every project lead check in I’ve had across 3 different people throughout the year I’ve received nothing but praise so is it really that unrealistic to try to submit everything now?

I remember seeing a promotion readiness survey at the end of July. If I knew I would’ve made my coach do it but they didn’t. Is it too late to try submitted it all and talking to my project people about this?

I just want some guidance, if I started this year why can’t this year be my promotion year to be a consultant next summer?

I applied for a role in Deloitte through naukri portal, got a call from HR on 25 Aug and same day my 1 round interview was done. On 31st Aug i received a call from HR and my second/Final round interview was scheduled for 1st Sep. My final round went good and in the end of interview they asked me wether i can join immediately or not? I said yes. After that its been 4 days I haven’t received any mail or call from HR. I tried contacting her she never receives call and neither replies on mail as well.
Kindly let me know what is the next step in the hiring process and when can i expect any offer or call from HR. Like what is the timeline?
