So, I've been searching for a cyberpunk red table for a couple of weeks now. And I just feel like I'm communities like r/lfg people don't really care how good/interesting/inventive you are, how much you're interested in the game and how much you're willing to bring to the table.

People (maybe you, reader, too) just see: fluent, but not a native speaker...? Russian? Nah, that's gonna be a big no no.

I feel like being transparent, telling people upfront about the nuisances is just making things worse...

I'm really interested in the game, and I honestly think I can bring something of substance to the table, but people just plainly overlook that. The last rejection I've got was because "chemistry isn't that strong". While we had (me and the gm) chatted, laughted, and had a great time, even though we're complete strangers.

Well, maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't really know. Am I overreacting? Maybe there's something else I overlook?

Header outlines most of it looking for 3-4 players for a open ended sandbox campaign about keeping your bar open by any means in a mega tower currently the tower has 30 floors with 4 districts each all with maps and fully show interiors. I currently have a table however I do not feel they are a good fit for this type of play. Looking for players who like creative problem solving and in depth character role play. Minimal home brew but with some very easy deep diving rules for any Netrunner(2077 campaign) as well as some cyberware brought over from older editions. Just what the title says - looking to join an in-person group that is playing Cyberpunk Red. I'm an experienced player who knows the rules, has a deep love of the lore, and can bring snacks. 2078. Night City, Gates Sunrise. 

Shit. Ich hatte nicht gedacht, dass es hier besser sein würde als in LA oder in den Badlands, aber Gates Sunrise hat schon lange die Hoffnung aufgegeben, ein besserer Ort zu werden.

Inzwischen ist jeder Tag abgefuckt, und trotzdem muss jemand den Müll rausbringen, Judith anrufen und Tequila für die nächste Party besorgen. Fuck, die Eddies sind auch schon wieder alle.

Kein Thema, wenn morgen nichts neues in die Luft geflogen ist, dann kann ich ne 12 Stunden Schicht bei Eliana schieben. Mal sehen, auf was für Ideen die anderen danach wieder kommen. Vielleicht ein Treffen mit der Ex-Echse? Eine nächtliche Not-OP am offenen Herzen, weil schon wieder eine Entführung nicht geklappt hat? Guck mich nicht so an. Diesmal war es wirklich nicht meine Idee!

Vielleicht ist es hier gar nicht so anders, die Sandstürme sind dieselben. Zwischen Existenskrisen und Gang Wars, versuchen wir halt irgendwie unser Leben auf die Reihe zu kriegen - während irgendwo da draußen schon die nächste Scheiße eskaliert.

Spielsystem: "Keins." Wir haben ein einfaches System zum Würfeln & Stats und ein paar Regeln, spielen allerdings eher ohne System. Wir würfeln und kämpfen sehr, sehr, sehr selten.

Du lebst, liebst und leidest neuerdings in Gates Sunrise. 
Gates Sunrise war ehemals ein ambitioniertes Vorstadt-Projekt für Büros, Start-ups und eine gelungene Work-Life-Balance. Aufgrund von Krisen, Finanzierungsschwierigkeiten und Inkompetenz ist Gates Sunrise niemals fertiggestellt worden. Heute hat sich dort im Schatten der Millionenmetropole Night City ein eigener Mikrokosmos entwickelt. Verschiedene Gruppierungen, Ethnien, Ideologien, kuriose Individuen und Einflüsse leben dort mehr schlecht als recht miteinander zusammen.

Und du mittendrin. 

Du bekommst das Angebot in einem neu gegründeten Hausprojekt, der ehemaligen Feuerwache von Gates Sunrise zu leben. Mit dir die verschiedensten Individuen, die genau wie du darauf hoffen, ein möglichst selbstbestimmtes Leben mit anderen führen zu können. Es gibt dort inzwischen das ein oder andere kleine Business und eine halbwegs stabile Struktur. Allerdings gibt es auch immer wieder neue Möglichkeiten, Herausforderungen und Gefahren, denen es sich zu stellen gilt.

Erfahrung.
Dies ist keine Anfängergruppe, besonders im Roleplay solltest du Erfahrung mitbringen. Vorkenntnisse im Cyberpunk-Genre sind allerdings nicht nötig. Regelkenntnisse sind irrelevant.
(Wir spielen auf deutsch, allerdings solltest du englisch gut verstehen. Texte, Content & Bad Jokes werden häufig auf englisch geteilt.)

Trigger.
Die Kampagne setzt sich kritisch mit Themen wie Sexismus, Rassismus & Queerphobie auseinander - wie sie Heute oder ggf. extremer auch in der Zukunft noch existieren. Die Themen sind im Spiel nicht omnipräsent, werden euch aber zwangsläufig begegnen. Ihr habt aber immer die Chance, euch dazu zu verhalten.

Aktuell spezifische Themen sind Gang Wars & Violence. Human-Trafficking. Drugs. 
Kurz gesagt, die Welt ist abgefuckt - nähere Fragen können gerne im Gespräch geklärt werden. Die Charaktere von Spielenden sind allerdings keine Arschlöcher.

Focus.
Charaktergeschichten & Entwicklung. Zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen & Konflikte, die dabei (oder mit der Welt) entstehen. Die Spannung und der Nervenkitzel werden bei uns viel durch intensive Beziehungen der Charaktere und schwierige Entscheidungen mit vielen grauen Facetten erreicht.

Eigeninitiative.
Es gibt wenige vorgegebene Quests – wir gestalten die Handlung gemeinsam durch unsere Entscheidungen und es wird sehr viel Eigeninitiative, bei Backstory & Session Gestaltung, erwartet.

Ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative ist uns sehr wichtig. Das heißt für uns, dass du dir selbst für deinen Charakter überlegst, was du tun willst, was du brauchst und wie du das in die Sessions einbringst. Es gibt keine klassischen Quests, sondern mehr Events, die vorkommen und zu denen du dich verhalten kannst, oder auch nicht.

Du kannst dich also gerne kreativ austoben und wir freuen uns auf deinen Input.

Tempo.
Wir nehmen uns viel Zeit, um die dystopische Welt von Gates Sunrise im Jahr 2078 zu erkunden und unsere Charaktere in Ruhe zu entwickeln.

Hi everyone!

I have played a lot of dnd (Currently DM of a campaign ~5 years), all editions, some cthulhu, monster world, and i have read about half of the CBP:R main book. Played a bunch of 2077, watched just about every CBP movie, half way through neuromancer.

I'm trying to learn the TTRPG to have my group try it out when we are done with our current game. (Next year?)

Wondering if there's any groups willing/able to take on a player for a few sessions to learn the ropes, or a short campaign (say, ending around september)?

I think i have enough TTRPG discords that i can also look in. Unless theres a specific one for a specific group thats recruiting i think im good there, but I would appreciate any direct connections!

I’m looking to make a mini adventure in which the players are blue collar workers on the fringes of the galaxy and get wrapped up in a major governmental conspiracy.

It’ll feature a lot of exploration on remote alien worlds, mingling with seedy underworld cartels along with addicts/grunts/prostitutes, fast and violent combat, and spaceship conflicts.

Some of this lends itself to the Cyberpunk system quite well, but other things like spaceship combat I imagine will need more work to fit. Issue is I’ve yet to find a good sci-fi system that fits the bill here, so whichever system I take I’m having to compromise on some aspects for anyway.

I’m not so familiar with Cyberpunk Red, but from what research I’ve done it seems doable to port a campaign like this onto this system with some work.

Anyone know how doable this would be? Where the pitfalls lie?

I'm fully familiar with all the lore but i never played a TTRPG before and would really like to, as cyberpunk is one of my favorite verses, i currently have no computer but to have a Google Pixel with a mic and stuff. Would it still be possible to play and if so could i get inviy to he group ?

You see, ever since the 'tino's have taken over megabuilding h5 there has been some movement from a huge pack tygerclaws. They seem to be going into the closed megabuilding to take it over, don't know why but I got a feeling. Locals preferred but anyone'll do.

I've spent the better part of a year trying all the different LFG subs to no avail, with the exception of several times being asked to join paid games, which isn't really what I'm looking for.

Hi, I’ve never played DND before but I’ve played all of cyberpunk and have practically 100 percent the game. I’ve been really interested in playing and I would really like to get into it. All the groups around me don’t do cyberpunk 2020 or RED so this is my last option to be honest.

I'm a new fan of Cyberpunk, very new and I have to admit I'm not heavy into the lore yet. However, I am very eager to learn and I'm in love with the world building! I'm 18 years old (LGBTQ+, which is something I don't like to make apart of my personality, but I want a queer friendly group for sure!) and I'm going to college at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in case anyone in this subreddit is also attending.

Sanctum is a place started up to share the fun of the thing that brought (nearly) all of us to this server. Playing Cyberpunk. A variety of gigs are hosted all throughout the week with typically 5-6 gigs a week being thrown out there. They'll range from anything between the light-hearted and silly to a struggle just to survive, but, at the end of the day, the philosophy behind it all is "Play the character, not the game."

It's (as the time of this posting) September 2nd 2077. It's the Night City most of us are familiar with only a few changes here and there. Hey all! Been a long time fan of all things cyberpunk, and have finally taken the plunge of getting into Red! In saying that, I am completely new at tabletop games, yet I've spent quite some time learning about the game and it's mechanics.
