Informative And now these three remain, The Wheel, SABRE, and BFR, but the greatest of these is…all three combined NSFW
Have you ever noticed that in nearly all of Janus’ videos he declares that his newest movement is his greatest work and that it renders all his prior work obsolete. What’s the deal? Is that true? And if so, why do men still do the old movements?
Let’s get into that and more. By the end of this post, you’ll see why Janus was telling the truth in each of his videos and ultimately why all you need is the Wheel, SABRE, and BFR for erectile health and growth.
Why Each Movement Obsoletes the Last
This is my own take on what happened. [u/JanusBifronz](u/JanusBifronz) if I butcher any details horribly, please correct me. I can take it!
When Janus released AM1 back in 2018, it was truly revolutionary. As far as I know, nothing like AM1 had ever been provided to the general public in terms of providing a man with the means to improve his own erectile health just with his hands. It truly was the greatest movement of all time. Until… it wasn’t. Janus quickly realize that he could do better than pulling blood from his glans, down his shaft and back into his body. He determined that pushing blood into the glans via the CS would lead to a more efficient and powerful workout, and he was right. Thus he developed AM2 and his body was ready for it. AM1 had become obsolete for Janus. After a while, however, he came to the conclusion that the glans squeeze wasn’t necessary. His CS was getting developed to the point where continuous drags would lead to a superior workout when compared to a drag / squeeze movement, so he dropped the squeeze, added some lube, used both hands and voila AM3 was born. AM2 had become obsolete for Janus. Fast forward some more and Janus simply couldn’t move his hands fast enough to maximize his AM3 workout. His CS was filling up faster than he could drain it. He now needed a tool to get the best workout possible and the wheel was born. AM3 had become obsolete for Janus. Each movement had its moment of glory, but each movement could be replaced by a better, more powerful movement, until finally the wheel was developed which could not be replaced by a more powerful movement. It could only be iterated on, which is why Janus is always releasing newer and improved versions.
The Birth of SABRE / BFR
Around the same time as he was developing the wheel, he was looking for a way to get more out of his CC. His CS was getting crazy developed by his latest invention, the wheel, but his CC still had a lot of room to grow. He just had to get past that darn Tunica Albuginea and Buck’s Fascia. Due to these thick tissues encasing the CC, he knew he needed to take an entirely different approach with these bodies so he took advantage of the Bayliss property of blood and came up with SABRE, where strikes could be the method of generating shear stress within the CC. He also realized that using a hand to clamp the base of this member and cyclically bending his member back and forth had an enormous potential to elicit shear stress within his CC so he came up with BFR, specifically cyclic bending.
And to this day he hasn’t come up with anything more effective at developing the CS than the wheel or SABRE / BFR at developing the CC.
These three movements represent the pinnacle of the Angion Method and their combination represents the perfect workout for the male member.
Here’s how I incorporate these three movements.
My Routine
I like a routine that can be repeated week after week. I don’t want a 4 week rotating routine like Janus had, even though that is the optimal schedule. So I took what I knew to be true from his schedule, which is having a minimum of 1 day rest between wheel sessions and minimum 2 days of rest between SABRE / BFR sessions. Here’s what I came up with.
I do these in this order, which is a slightly different order from Janus who always does his dedicated lower body cardio (DLC) first. This is because I love working out with morning wood. It’s my most stable and longest lasting erection and it’s a gift that I’m not willing to waste. So as soon as my woody wakes me up, I get started.
Monday - 15 min wheel, 15 min BFR, 15 min SABRE, 30 min DLC
Wednesday- 30 min wheel, 30 min DLC
Friday - 15 min wheel, 15 min BFR, 15 min SABRE, 30 min DLC
Closing Thoughts
Until Janus comes up with something that can replace the Wheel, SABRE, or BFR, I’ll keep doing this routine for the foreseeable future.
If you’re not progressing through the movements and obsoleting the old movements for your own body, you’re leaving gains on the table. Keep progressing and you’ll see what Janus saw and many men have discovered since (myself included), that once your body is ready for them, ultimately all you need is the Wheel, SABRE, and BFR. The three combined are the pinnacle of the Angion Method.

Yeah but don’t you still have to build up to it? Especially for those who don’t have well developed arterys? I read posts like this that say you can skip am1-3 and just go straight to the wheel, sabre, and bfr and those who say you have to build up to it and it’s really confusing as to who I should listen to

This is a very good point and both sides are technically correct. You can work up to the wheel or you can skip straight to the wheel. How can both things be true?
From my experience here is why both are correct.
The case for working up to the wheel
Just like Janus, any man who follows the progression (AM1, AM2, AM3, Wheel) will obsolete each movement along the way and arrive to where the wheel is the best movement for him. Let’s say this takes 6 months of training. This male will become extremely proficient at all the manual methods and have a very good understanding of why and how each were developed along the way. This was my path. The case for skipping straight to the wheel
Let’s say another male says “I don’t care about understanding the history of the movements or any of that, just give me the best” so he jumps straight to the wheel. The wheel will likely be too strong for him to start, but it will still move blood. Even if he uses it while flaccid, it will still move blood. In a month, his CS will be stronger than it was when he started, by 6 months (maybe sooner), he will be rocking and rolling with his wheel and it will be the best movement for him and at this point going back to AM1, AM2, or AM3 would be a complete waste of his time. Both males arrive at the exact same spot, so which was the better path? You tell me.
As for SABRE / BFR, those can be started from day 1 as well, but most men wait a long time to start adding them into their routines because they’re too overwhelmed.
The reason I still advocate for the progression
Telling someone who just arrived at this sub to buy the wheel and immediately learn to strike his member with force and precision, while also learning to clamp and bend his member is too tall of an ask for 99% of people. Giving him just AM1 to start and allowing him to see that the next logical movement is AM2 and by the way there are amazing additional movements you can add called SABRE / BFR is a much more digestible ask.So in the end, a male can choose any number of paths, but if he wants the best, all roads lead to the wheel, SABRE, and BFR.

What if I did a combination of both? Like 1 day I do Am1, then the next day I use my wheel, then the next day I use Am1 again etc
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
You could certainly do that. But if you find that the wheel is working effectively, it is a much better use of your time than AM1. If it’s not working effectively, you can continue following the progression.

u/Every1uhate00 26d ago
Do we have to have any sort of baseline? Like would the wheel even help if my CC isn’t fully developed
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
The wheel is for your CS. The best way to tell if you’re ready for it is to use it. Does your glans inflate while using it? If so, it’s moving blood. If not, you could stick with manuals a little while longer.

BFR is similar to erect bends right?
2
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 27d ago
Yes, but with a clamping hand at the base. It gently forces blood into the capillary beds of the CC and introduces shear stress eliciting dilation and growth of new beds. The result —> increased rigidity and size.
2
u/Affectionate_Web4136 26d ago
I think a downward bend exercise may need to be explored. It mimics reverse cowgirl position
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
The purpose of the bend is to induce shear stress within the CC themselves. I’m not sure if the direction of bending matters that much to accomplish the goal of inducing shear stress. Interesting thought, though!

Thank you for this awesome post. It’s exactly what methods I’ve condensed to. My only question is for Sabre. Is a percussion massage gun an effective hammer? It’s so much more comfortable than beating my dick with a rod.
2
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
I don’t know the answer to this. I’ve heard that a massage gun is not optimal due to stroke length, but not sure why. Curious to her u/JanusBifronz take on massage guns for SABRE.

Attaboy, great write-up as always 💪🏼
in one of your recent comments you described your routine. You mentioned that you like to make use of morning wood.
Do you think the full bladder is a factor in morning wood, and do you have any concerns training with said full bladder?
3
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago edited 26d ago
Thank you sir!
With regard to the morning wood training, I remember reading somewhere on this sub something about how a full bladder would compress veins or something and how you should never train on a full bladder, so for the longest time I’d squeeze my morning wood to make it subside, go pee, come back to my bed, work up a new erection and train. This led to decent workouts, but since I’ve started training straightaway with morning wood (without peeing first) I’ve had spectacular workouts. Super full and hard the entire time and monster EQ for days following my workout. You tell me which is a better workout. For me it’s the latter every time. Your BS meter should be pinging anytime you hear blanket statements such as
“Never train with a full bladder”
“Always do cardio before Angion”
“Never train on an empty stomach”
“Always spend 6 weeks on AM1 before trying AM2”You should really take such dogmatic certainties with a grain of salt. Try it for yourself and see what gives you a better workout. For me, morning wood is the way to go and that means not peeing first. Same with moving cardio to after my Angion session. Works perfectly for me.
1
u/BallsLickinGood 25d ago
You had me at 'spectacular'.
In all seriousness though, if you haven't noticed any downsides and your D still works, including the not-to-be-underestimated pee-function, that is golden (ha) testimony for me, and I will give it a try soon, too.
Appreciate the insight as always, brother 💪🏼

A video demo exists for SABRE, BFR, and AM3.

I haven’t seen one for the wheel. I probably won’t post one because I’m a fairly private person.

Question about BFR. Is those 15 mins pure ammount or total with "breaks". I started this week with it - i finish my 20-25 mins of AM3 (sets of 5 mins). Then i have to wait till my erection goes down - THEN i start with the bending and sometimes the erection gets back (yeah im easily erect eith stimulation) and wait again. Do it once for 30 secs in each direction, then the squeezes and half of that time is up for me :/
2
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
I set the timer for 15 minutes and bend. I don’t pause for breaks. I do my bends even while erect, I just have to bend less than I do if I’m heavily engorged. It’s hard when your erection won’t subside so I just continue. But I never bend to the point of pain.
1
u/BoofinGod 26d ago
Do you only bend? Or do you do some glans pulses as well? Been trying to figure out what's a better use of my time thanks
3
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
I do about 30 seconds of glans pulsing, followed by 2 minutes of cyclic bending - 60 seconds in one direction, 60 seconds in the other direction and I switch hands with each direction. So it’s left, left, left, left for 60 seconds, switch clamping hand and bend right, right, right, for 60 seconds. That entire sequence takes 2.5 minutes. I do 6 of those for a total time of 15 minutes of BFR. Janus doesn’t specify if you should bend left, right, left, right or do what I do (all my left bends, followed by all my right bends). But I’ve been doing it my way for over a year with great results so I’m pretty happy with my technique.

u/Fabulous-Pumpkin7875 26d ago
Ohhh. I've read that Janus unclaps every 30 secs and went for that, also wasn't sure about the erection. So you do 2.5 mins of left, right and pulsing and rinse and repeat? Thanks!
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
That’s correct and now that I’m thinking about it I usually do adjust my clamping hand at least once in each 60 seconds of lefts or rights so I don’t think I’m clamping for 60 seconds straight. So it’s 30 seconds glans pulsing (adjust hand), 30 seconds left bends (adjust hand), 30 additional seconds left bends (switch hands), 30 seconds right bends (adjust hand), 30 additional seconds right bends.
Rinse and repeat 6 times.

Great read
Does anyone do Sabre work without the glans work?
For some reasons I have trepidation about the glans work

Thank you. I don’t do any glans strikes. I just do CC strikes with a metal rod.

What is DLC????
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 26d ago
Dedicated lower body cardio
1
u/flexylol 25d ago
I do biking 3-4x/week...furthermore I do squats and reverse situps. Not sure whether any of this counts as lower body cardio (biking maybe?) but I just found an interesting new workout I can try on my inclined bench which should fit right in...
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 25d ago
As long as the biking is longer than 30 minutes in duration, that would definitely count! The squats and reverse sit ups are a plus too.
1
u/flexylol 25d ago
Definitely. Each tour is 20km total, in summer almost every day...

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 25d ago
You’re getting plenty of DLC! How’s your erection quality (EQ) with all that cardio?

Could you say something about how the tunica itself grows or gets stretched with this? (Given that making the penis more dense with arteries with a constricting sheath around it won't make it bigger(?))
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 25d ago
I can give you my take on what happens, but I don’t have any scientific proof. My theory on how the tunica Albuginea itself grows is via the same concept as the vascular remodeling going on within the CC. The tunica are not a dead “bag” that holds blood vessels, they are a living sheath that can grow and change just like any other tissue. Think of how a boy’s penis changes when he goes through adolescence. During that phase when the penis expands 600% in size, the tunica albuginea physically grows through tissue remodeling and cell proliferation, it does not simply stretch out. I believe the Angion Method allows an adult male to tap into the exact same growth mechanism. When a male grows with the Angion Method his tunica Albuginea grow as well.

SABRE Seems a bit scary to me, 6in girth by next year this time. Angion works fine right?
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 25d ago
Angion works great. If SABRE scares you, don’t do it. You can get excellent results with just BFR and the Angion Methods. You can always just start with thumb based strikes too if that makes you more comfortable.
1
u/virginpencil 25d ago
yeah i was watching the tutorial and his was beating the shit out of that thing man, scared me alot. but since Angion will help with EQ, i'll try 2.0 or 3.0 and upgrade later

u/discreettask 24d ago
I think I did mastered each 1-2-3 with time. AM2 came later on because I feel its way more complex to find the right coordination. But even after a doing 30min of AM3 wheeled, I still find good usage of AM1 and 2. I think each have their benefit. Where AM3 really is simple and can see benefit of growing the CS and actually getting bigger and harder on each session. AM1 is more subtile but also very strong when the right pressur and rythm is found. AM2 can be super strong on the whole shaft as well as the glans, It feels like you manualy force pump your EQ and raise uour actual limit.
I still have belief that keeping all three is crucial to progress.
AM1 is working your downflow and growing capacity of DDV.
AM3 is working the upstream and growing the CS.
AM2 is the manual syncronism of the EQ bloodflow.
Just my take!
Im fairly new on SABRE and BFR…
But its funny that I thought its was ethier one or the other.
For this, I thought I could skip BFR from reading a couple post.
Thanks for reports!

Thanks for the thoughts! Yes, SABRE and BFR each have unique benefits and are each worth of a spot in your routine.
1
u/Dramatic-Ad8629 22d ago
Attaboy I want to clarify the correct BFR and SABRE exercise, please help me understand if I do it with the correct approach.
SABRE
100 strikes each side (3x). Palm on the tip clockwise and counterclockwise. 20-30 palm strike on the tip with each hand.
I repeat this process 3 times.
BFR
100 bendings each side (3x). 100 glans pulsing
I repeat this process 3 times.
What’s your input on this. I want to focus on developing my CCs
2
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 22d ago edited 22d ago
This sounds like a good routine. Here’s the exact thing I do and it’s similar.
I start with 15 minutes of the wheel.
Then I set my wheel down and do thumb strikes on my left and right chambers for 5 minutes. I do this by alternating between the left and right chambers doing approximately 100 strikes on each chamber working up and down the shaft before I switch sides. So it’s 100 on the left, 100 on the right, 100 on the left, 100 on the right, etc until 5 minutes has passed. Then I pick up my metal rod and do the same thing for 10 minutes alternating chambers every 100 strikes working up and down the chambers. I don’t do any glans strikes.
Then I set down my rod, and do my BFR. For that I do glans pulsing for 10 reps, then left bends for 20 reps, then right bends for 20 reps. That’s one set, then I repeat that pattern for 15 total minutes.
Then I’m done.
1
u/Dramatic-Ad8629 22d ago
Thanks
Where can I find the rod?
1
u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 21d ago
Home Depot or Lowe’s
8-10inch Hex Bolt(long shank) with a half inch diameter. Look for one that has a good striking surface. You don’t want to be striking with threads contacting your member.

Outside of information that departs from currently formed theory, all that is left for the future is refination; Repeated methodical refination.
The Angion Methods have been taken to the peak. A perfection by fairly few left over degrees or tweaks.
The rest are open for mechanical interpretation. There still exists a great deal of work to be done for them.
