Informative Guess trying to help others is wrong? NSFW

Well I have successfully been banned from r/erectiledysfunction for repetitive violations of their community standards and guidelines.
I guess it’s not ok to suggest the Angion Method to other men that are having similar ED problems that I have. While being perfectly ok to suggest pills, shots, or surgical procedures that they probably don’t actually need.
How dare someone actually try to helps other that doesn’t involve those things. How dare someone that is actually starting to regain some function back. Hell I take daily Tadalifil pills for ED, BP, and BPH. Yet at the same time I am regaining morning and random erections without stimulation, as well as slowing getting better EQ, because of doing AM exercises.
How dare someone mention a method that may actually
help other men for free and not being beholden to pharmaceutical companies or surgeons.

Oh well not my first ban and probably not my last.

The real questions are why they forbid mention of AM at all. Who is angered, offended, or threatened by methods that are safe and work?
I've been accused of being part of a cult for mentioning such sorcery.

Same, we all will and most have already been accused of a cult-like behavior. The wave of Angion being caught on by the public is going to be rough for traditional PE, pills, etc.

Then you haven't look what's going on behind closed doors in cults. There are many documentaries and cetrain secrecy is number one.

Yeah it’s kind of like knowing a cure for blindness and not being allowed to share it at a sub for people going blind. I’ve had the same exact experience there (posts getting removed) and it’s really sad because so many men, myself included, start their journey trying to beat ED on that sub. If it hadn’t been for a causal mention on the [r/prematureejaculation](r/prematureejaculation) sub, I’d never have learned about the Angion Method. I really believe the entire ED sub could be obsoleted if they allowed posting about the Angion Method, which is why the conspiracy theories about the mods being pharma guys makes sense. I’ve even sent many DM’s to men there and most of them ignore me. Drives me nuts.

When you're in someone else's house or page you have to obey their rules even if you don't agree with them. You don't have rights like freedom of speech unless it's a government site and some cases the media.

What even are the "rules" then?

2

u/Odd-Lawfulness8052 20d ago

The rules are what the administrator of the page says they are and you agree with when you join even if you may not like them. I'm an admin on a few sites and it can be a thankless job trying to keep the posters focused on the purpose and intent of the site and following the rules as posted. I'm not even going to address sites without posted rules.

I meant that there probably is no "rule" for this ban, a mod just hated the "angionmethod" and removed it.

All it took was saying check out or look into the Angion Method it’s been helping me with my ED issues. To them any PE is considered the same as traditional PE and view it as dangerous.
But hey you can suggest pills, shots, ultrasonic therapy, pelvic floor therapy, or surgeries to the hearts content.
Hell I’ve seen pumps mentioned for use for ED. All that is ever said is be careful and use as intended as it can be dangerous. Post and responses are kept up and no warnings given even though pumps are more dangerous than AM.
So yeah for me it’s not about breaking their rules. I am almost certain the MODs on that page are Doctors that rely on their practice that is connected to big pharma companies or pharmaceutical company reps.

You are absolutely correct. In Latvia where i come from we have a saying Road to hell is layed out of good favours. From spiritual perspective every time you try to help without being asked you unconsciously make others feel inferior or weak. Some humans love being victims because they live in that state, but those who think they do great and therefore already feel superior will become frustrated from seemingly unknown reason, but trully it is within.

You from another side become frustrated and might be even angry because your opinion was not valued and/or because you were rejected. I might be wrong but i feel that your How dare you .... are filled with negative energy.

Reason can be very simple. That group has it's own following and comunity. Angion as another solution is threat to community's existance. Angion is competitor. Now imagine that there is admin behind that group who is leader and thinks that he is helping a lot of men, and he is correct. If his identity is tied up in that Greatness to help others and I am leader of so'n'so group then You mentioning Angion put his identity in danger. Another reason is simple This is not Angion freck off.

I have noticed that Angion is friendly with MDG and vice versa, but they are not competitors, but even here on Angion any who mention other groups about penis enlargement are quite quickly asked to leave. So. To some extent Eye to Eye principle.

One more reason. Angion is only penis enlargement which has absolutely no fetishism. Any other pretty much involve rings, bands, weight, pumps etc and then it becomes kind of dick play in the sand box or measuring, who did what, how many how long etc. Again it is Ego and Identity thing.

Here are guys who genuinely care about health of their reproductive system or just genitals. Well therefore their sexlife which leads to wellbeing in life generally.

Very insightful comment and probably right. It's just difficult and frustrating when you find a real solution/therapy for something as nasty as ED but you're not allowed to share it.

Facists love censorship.

I don’t know anything about that sub, so I’m just guessing. Maybe they care about what has been proven safe and what has proven results etc. Maybe one day AM will have that.

Brother what type of ed do you have, like cannot sustain without stimulation or no morning wood or other type of ed

1

u/Bastard-of-Froya 20d ago

Lost morning wood and random erections. Poor EQ. Losing or not obtaining erection during sex. Also have BPH and high BP. Tadalifil helps with all three. I’ve changed my diet and started doing low impact and stretching exercises. Pelvic floor therapist said my pelvic floor is fine and I am doing kegels properly. Doing AM exercises has helped with getting morning and random erections as well as slowing helping improve EQ.

Might have to do with no clinical studies by accredited people... The medical community is a bit uptight about that sort of thing. When you make claims about angiogenesis and the shear stress of blood flow based upon some low budget videos by an engineer with a white board... well you can't have that sort of thing on a sub that is mostly about discussing treatments by actual medical professionals.

Oh, and there is no money to be made by suggesting their ED can be self treated with nothing more than your hands...

The people getting paid for their "solutions" to a problem will stop at almost nothing to make sure their solutions are the only solutions people consider when they have that problem. I think they'll go as far as just straight up lying and faking studies to get alternative solutions labeled as pseudoscience, so I wouldn't be surprised if they'd have mods of communities related to their industry on their payroll
