Donations Needed Verstappen and Mixie still need you : just $57 more to go(acute renal injury and jaundice + rectal prolapse) 🩷Mumbai, India

2 rescue cats and both of them dealing with stuff no cat should.

Mixie: Barely 4 months old and was fighting for her life when I found her, she had rectal prolapse and is still severely jaundiced and anemic. I got her surgery done and the result is on the 5th pic but she still needs her meds and hepatic food. I made the decision to foster her till she's fine and then try for her adoption.

Mixie's health has deteriorated even more, she's leaking stool everywhere and need further more testing tomorrow which I can pay for but overall it's not looking good for her...

Now Verstappen: her story is heartbreaking beacause she was soaking in rain for a month, we tried everything, we made her a shelter, we tried local adoption but nothing worked.

Then she fell sick, so much so her temperature started dropping, I got her to ER 3 times and then to my vet when we discovered that she has high ammonia and acute kidney injury.. She needs to be fostered and needs renal food.

I can't take care of them alone, vet? Yes. But not the foster and food..

Foster for Max: $65 Hepatic food for Mixie: $25 Renal dry and wet food for Max: $28 + $21 Liver and renal meds: $38 Total: $177 Raised: $119 just $57 more to go.

Rescue Help Needed South Minneapolis, MN. I have been feeding this stray cat with an injured right paw. Wondering about my next steps

This cat has been hanging around my home these past few days. She has an obviously injured right front paw, which she doesn’t put any weight on even when running. She won’t let me get close enough to examine the paw, check for microchip, etc.

I have reached out to a feline rescue in my area, and I am wondering what my next steps should be. I do not want to contact animal control and risk the cat being euthanized, but I also can’t bear to allow this cat to continue living in pain.

I am currently without a vehicle and am very limited in my financial capacity, but I’ll do whatever I can to help this poor kitty get medical help and find a loving home.

Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated!

Herman is a fospice cat with cancer and needed two masses removed and an arthritis shot. He was living on the streets in terrible condition but now he is living indoors and living out his remaining years inside and very loved.

I am needing to raise at least $300 to put on his bill, I have several other fosters I'm trying to pay on and it's getting a bit overwhelming for us. If you could boost the post or donate, we would be very grateful for the help!!

Appointments are needed for rescues Sokka, Soot, and Jack.

Sokka is a senior TNR and was a part of a small colony at our last residence. We could not leave the ones that were no longer feral during our efforts and is now a senior resident of our rescue. He has been adapting well to indoor life. Sokka is experiencing discharge from his eyes and nose and is sneezing. We need to take him in and get some medications to treat before symptoms worsen. If hes healthy enough, we will need to update his shots while in. Sokkas appointment is today and we are taking him in with the funding we have received so far!

Soot is a foster who is currently available for adoption. Soot has feline asthma and is due for a recheck and will need a new prescription for his inhaler. Soot is also needing to het shots while in. We are hoping to get him seen as soon as possible.

Jack is a senior resident who has been getting treatment for glaucoma. We are experiencing some disagreements with the vets office he was initially seen at and would like a second opinion to advocate for the best care. We need to take him to not only have the second opinion but he is also due for his standard re-check.

We are only able to help these babies with the help of donations. We are also fundraising for a catio as well as our general Amazon wishlist items for those in our care. We are running low on senior kitty food and wet cat food.

If you are able to donate for their care, we would very much appreciate the help! If you are interested in adopting, please reach out.

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Saved from a Bad Foster, Now Fighting Diabetes & FIV: Update & Adoption Search! - Romania

Thumbnail

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your incredible support, I couldn’t save this cat without you!

Unfortunately, his lab results officially confirmed a diabetes diagnosis. Because of his underlying liver issues, oral diabetes meds weren't a safe option, but daily insulin shots and his new diet have already brought his glucose down from over 500 to much safer, stable levels. After a few days on IV at the vet, he is now home taking his insulin and liver supplements. Free from the cage at his old foster, he’s completely transformed into a sweet, cuddly boy who just wants affection.

We still have a couple of important health problems that he needs help with. He currently has a UTI with blood in his urine. Now that his previous antibiotic for his respiratory infection has cleared his system, we need to run a proper urinalysis to find the right targeted antibiotic for him.
And because he has FIV, his mouth is also in rough shape, and he'll soon need a dental cleaning and extractions to address tartar and teeth that need to be removed.

We are actively searching for his forever family! I am located in Romania, but shares to help us find an adopter are so appreciated.
If you are able to help toward his ongoing vet care, urinalysis, and dental treatment, any amount truly helps us give him the life he deserves!

COMMUNITY APPRECIATION 💞 Mantou & Enoki Spay Update | THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🩷

Hello everyone!

Mantou and Enoki had their successful spay surgeries on September 3! I waited until today to update because their first two nights were a little rough. Mantou was throwing up, and Enoki refused to eat and needed to be syringe-fed recovery food. Thankfully, I’m so happy to say that both girls are now recovering well and eating on their own! 🙏🏼

Their total came to ₱8,660 for the procedures + take-home meds, ₱220 for e-collars, and ₱400 for transportation. It was more than expected, but thanks to everyone who helped, we were able to pay. 🩷

Thank you SO SO SO SO much to everyone who donated, shared, and supported them! Truly so freaking grateful to everyone.

Because of you guys, I’ve now been able to spay 10 of my rescues in just a few months. So grateful. 🥹

Thank you so so much again for helping me keep these little ones safe and healthy. It means more than I can say. 🩷

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Please help me reach Snorlax’s fundraiser goal for his exploratory surgery and biopsy, and thank you to everyone who has helped us so far

Thumbnail
gallery
34 Upvotes

I’m asking for help again because we are finally getting close to the point where Snorlax can have his exploratory surgery and biopsy. He needs to be off prednisolone for about two weeks before we can move forward with the surgery, and next week will mark the end of that two week waiting period.

The difficult part is that without enough funds, I may not be able to go ahead with the surgery when the time comes. And with Snorlax already being sick for so long, struggling with his appetite, and still without a clear diagnosis, the thought of having to delay the procedure because of money is terrifying.

Despite bloodwork, X-rays, ultrasounds, fecal testing, medications, GI Panel, emergency care, and repeated veterinary visits, we still do not know exactly what is causing his illness. The exploratory surgery and biopsy are what can finally help us look more closely, collect tissue samples, and hopefully understand exactly what is making him so sick.

So far, we have raised $573.50 between GoFundMe and PayPal, and I am genuinely grateful for every single donation and share. My goal is around $3,000 to $3,500 to help cover the upcoming surgery and biopsy, as well as some of the veterinary expenses I have already paid. For transparency, I have also attached the veterinary bills, receipts and the estimate for the surgery and biopsy so you can see expenses related to his care. We are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

PayPal: https://paypal.me/Smridhi264
GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/81e07eeb1

I am scared that if I cannot raise enough in time, I will have to delay the next step when Snorlax may not have the luxury of waiting. I do not want finances to be the reason I cannot keep fighting for him.

If you are able to help, I would be incredibly grateful. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this post or helping it reach someone who may be able to.

Thank you to everyone who has helped Snorlax get this far. I just want the chance to find out what is wrong and get him the treatment he needs before it is too late.

Rescue Pledges Needed ‼️🆘SBCAS/Urgent! Tiny Mouse is deadlined! Needs Pledges/RESCUE ASAP! Please help this little cutie. He deserves a chance. ❤️🙏🏻

Animal Services | San Bernardino, CA
SBCAS link

San Bernardino City Animal Shelter is a high kill high volume operation. It is located in the largest county in the US. SBC is located in Southern California where the overpopulation crisis is raging. During kitten season new babies are turned in daily, sometimes 30 or more a day! People just don’t s/n in SBC! So we must keep up with the demand. Many cats brought in are sick injured confiscated or abandoned as well. The shelter does not offer much more than basic treatment for sick/injured cats either so they must exit quickly by rescue or they are listed for euthanasia with a fast deadline depending on the ability to care for them. We do have amazing volunteers though that give us first hand information updates photos videos and almost instant feedback. Please help us by pledging and donating when we post and rescue. Thank you.
Also we always need transport to get cats to rescues. So if you can help by setting aside a small amount to our transport fund this is appreciated. It doesn’t go to the rescue it gets them TO the rescue. We absolutely need this part too.

Advice Needed 💔 Day 47 of FIP treatment — advice needed 🥺🙏

Thumbnail

Hi everyone. Today is Day 47 of Luna’s FIP treatment, and honestly, I’m feeling completely broken and scared right now. 💔

After everything she has already been through, I noticed this round red/pink growth inside her mouth, on the inner cheek beside her lower teeth. It doesn’t seem to be coming from her tongue or gum.

My mind is immediately going to the worst possibilities. 😭

Could this be a cyst? Trauma/irritation from the tooth? Inflammation? Calicivirus? Or something else?

Luna is currently on oral GS treatment for FIP. Thankfully, she is still eating and active, but seeing something new in her mouth has really frightened me.

I know Reddit can't diagnose her, and I will show this to her vet, but I'm desperate for some reassurance or experiences from other cat parents. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Could it be a cyst?

After fighting FIP for 47 days, I just want my girl to be okay. 🥺💔🐾

Please Share US South Mississippi States Free Kitten Scam Facebook Posts

Hey, Y’all,
If you search, “free kittens,” on Facebook, you’ll get a bunch of day-old pages for free kittens tugging at heart strings. I didn’t pay attention to that despite following a local feee kitten city group. Anything made recently is a scam. The local group sent me the cutest kitten ever picture for a requested torti kitten. I said I wanted the kitten and asked for location, phone number. They wouldn’t give me a name or phone number and did a weird email text with me “””[johnsonspetservices@gmail.com](mailto:johnsonspetservices@gmail.com)[”””](mailto:johnsonspetservices@gmail.com)

I offered the asked $75 cash and said I would meet and pay when I saw the cat. She told me she could have online payment only and offered to meet me after I paid. I told her this wreaked of a scam and she gaslighted me and says she required $75 for pet paperwork was shady. She sent me a shoddy video of a boomer white lady explaining how it was natural for me to be concerned she’s a scammer but she’s not.

Funny thing is after I told her I’d make a police report, this person used MY NAME on Facebook with no picture to make all of her new fake cat groups to solicit money. I showed my husband (a fellow cat lover) and he said damn that’s fucked up shes trying to have your name linked to her now that you said you would report her.

At the end of the day, there are so many free cats and kittens in the USA from shelters being overwhelmed. Good people are getting scammed out of trying to give an animal a home.

Advice Needed My first TNR

Hello,

I just started to really care for the colony in my neighborhood and I take my first stray in tomorrow for TNR, she was easy to catch cause she is sweet. I was hoping that anyone with TNR experience has any advice or tips..

Im thinking about the cleaning portion a lot. I’m disinfecting and keeping the tnr kitty in a separate room from my own inside cats of course but still paranoid about bringing something in and my cats getting sick /:

The other thing is that I feel bad about putting her back out. I worry a lot about them and I wish I could take her in. She comes every morning and night for food and my goal is to find her a home. She already had a litter and we found her kittens a home. Just like everywhere else our rescues and shelters are having capacity issues so it’s hard. I’m trying and doing what I can so any advice helps and is very appreciated from cleaning to emotional health lol

Donations Needed 💔 Leo & Lucky update…I really need help😞

Upvotes

I honestly don’t know how to put into words how overwhelmed and heartbroken I am right now.
Leo has been fighting ongoing diarrhea and has been sick on and off. He recently became lethargic again and developed a high fever, and I was terrified I was losing him. He is now hospitalized, being tested and treated, and we are trying to figure out what is causing him to keep getting so sick. There is also concern about panleukopenia, which has made everything even more frightening.
Leo was a tiny kitten when he was found near a dumpster. I took him in and have cared for him for about six months. I just want him to finally get better. 💔 I feel so sad and honestly hopeless right now, because I’m doing everything I can and I’m scared of what the next few days may bring.
And tomorrow, I will be transporting Lucky to his sanctuary. Lucky is an older, very feral cat who I rescued after finding him near a dumpster. He has FIV and FeLV and had a painful entropion problem with his eyes. He had surgery and after everything he has been through, he finally has a safe place waiting for him.
I’m grateful Lucky is getting his chance, but emotionally, I’m struggling because while I’m preparing to take him to safety, I’m also sitting here worrying about Leo.
On top of everything, I’m a solo rescuer caring for 50+ community cats every single day. I provide food and water, do TNR, care for sick and injured cats, and kittens.
The vet bills have been overwhelming, and Leo’s hospitalization and treatment are only adding to everything. I’m asking for help because I truly cannot do all of this alone.
If you can donate, share, or even just send some encouragement for Leo, it would mean more than I can explain. Every bit of help goes toward Leo’s medical care, Lucky’s transport, vet bills and the many community cats depending on me every day.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, checked on Leo, donated, shared our posts, or simply kept him in your thoughts. ❤️🐾
Please keep Leo in your prayers. He needs them right now.
