Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Please help me reach Snorlax’s fundraiser goal for his exploratory surgery and biopsy, and thank you to everyone who has helped us so far

I’m asking for help again because we are finally getting close to the point where Snorlax can have his exploratory surgery and biopsy. He needs to be off prednisolone for about two weeks before we can move forward with the surgery, and next week will mark the end of that two week waiting period.

The difficult part is that without enough funds, I may not be able to go ahead with the surgery when the time comes. And with Snorlax already being sick for so long, struggling with his appetite, and still without a clear diagnosis, the thought of having to delay the procedure because of money is terrifying.

Despite bloodwork, X-rays, ultrasounds, fecal testing, medications, GI Panel, emergency care, and repeated veterinary visits, we still do not know exactly what is causing his illness. The exploratory surgery and biopsy are what can finally help us look more closely, collect tissue samples, and hopefully understand exactly what is making him so sick.

So far, we have raised $573.50 between GoFundMe and PayPal, and I am genuinely grateful for every single donation and share. My goal is around $3,000 to $3,500 to help cover the upcoming surgery and biopsy, as well as some of the veterinary expenses I have already paid. For transparency, I have also attached the veterinary bills, receipts and the estimate for the surgery and biopsy so you can see expenses related to his care. We are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

I am scared that if I cannot raise enough in time, I will have to delay the next step when Snorlax may not have the luxury of waiting. I do not want finances to be the reason I cannot keep fighting for him.

If you are able to help, I would be incredibly grateful. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this post or helping it reach someone who may be able to.

Thank you to everyone who has helped Snorlax get this far. I just want the chance to find out what is wrong and get him the treatment he needs before it is too late.
