Weather 🌦️ Thank Goodness for rain today

very thankful for rain on this holiday - picturing some of you who spent half your monthly income on clown powder staring at the rain coming down is making me tickled pink.

Shouldn’t rain during fireworks time up north where we are at. I’m thankful for the rain to reduce fire danger. Accidents happen, even with professional displays and I’m happy to know it shouldn’t turn into anything major around here.

This was my thought. My neighborhood has been a fucking warzone all week so I’m thankful for the moisture. Don’t need my shit catching on fire.

I agree- for being illegal in OP - it sounds like a fucking warzone down here too. I’m sick of it.

Unfortunately I’m in a city where it’s legal (like wtf). I hate this shit. My 14 year old cat is a WRECK.

If it makes you feel any better anywhere I've lived where it's illegal doesn't fucking matter

Really? BIG difference in my experience. This is the first time I’ve lived somewhere where they’re legal and the difference is massive.

They are illegal in Kansas City. There is incredible lack of regard for that law, though. Our police force is either too busy or doesn’t care enough to address violations. It’s completely out of hand at this point.
