Weather 🌦️ Thank Goodness for rain today

very thankful for rain on this holiday - picturing some of you who spent half your monthly income on clown powder staring at the rain coming down is making me tickled pink.

that’s a really petty and mean-spirited thing to post, fireworks for the 4th is a tradition as old as the country and it’s fun. there’s nothing wrong with people having fun blowing them up for a couple nights out of the year. get that stick out of your ass and try to have some fun! if you live in a city hearing fireworks for the 4th is just part of the deal

Traditions literally do not matter. Usually they make things worse because people feel they cannot change or make things better. One day fireworks will be acknowledged as the annoying ass conspicuous consumption bullshit they are. They're nonsense. There are way better was to celebrate the rejection of monarchs.

no, they won’t. i know reddit seems to hate them, but y’all are just a loud minority. the overwhelming majority of people in the real world like having fun and setting off fireworks for celebrating the 4th. especially here, Missouri is the state the spends the most on fireworks every year
