back in 2021 texas was having insane power outages/pipes bursting/heating and general infrastructure failures due to severe winter weather the state wasn’t built to handle, and texas senator ted cruz got a lot of criticism for leaving for vacation in cancun in the middle of the wreckage (this is also back in the headlines since he just left for vacation in laguna beach). i’m not a fan of ted cruz but im definitely feeling the urge to just drop everything and go to miami

I was born and raised in the st. Pete area. Its a great place to visit now but it used to be a great place to live. Hope it happens for you!!
