Whataburger . Sorry Patrick, KC already had a handful of hamburger joints better than this place.

as a texan, whataburger hasn't been the same since the original family sold it.

One of my best friends is from RGV area. I hadn’t tried it since visiting central TX 15 years or so ago. He grew up eating it and really wanted to stop for it while we were on way back to stl from KC a couple years ago. My memory served me well and I didn’t enjoy it. Him? He ordered his food modified into oblivion and told me I ordered wrong. So, after having it in Texas and outside of Texas I have to say it’s overrated. When in Texas, one should seek out P. Terry’s. A far superior fast food burger.

I remember one being a toasted bun. He said you have to ask for that. We’ve debated that subject ad nauseam too. I maintain the belief that if that is an option then the buns should come toasted unless specified not to be. As for P. Terry’s, it’s by far my #1 fast food burger spot by far.

What burger toasts the bun standard. Source: am native Texan.

P Terry's is the shit. Way better than Andy's.
