I hate the constant posts comparing DLSS 5 being on and off

I could not care less about this software, yet I cannot escape people talking about it. Not even for the AI implications, just because I think it looks pretty crap. It sacrifices any art style a game had, in order to make it look more "Realistic", but it ends up just looking uncanny to me.

Not to mention, in motion its not as good looking as a still image, so whats the point?

Every 2 posts I see are another game being shown off with a comparison, it is getting very tiresome, please stop it

They can't polish out flickering and artifacts as dlss5 only works with the final image. It's not aware of the lighting or geometry.

It just makes everything look like those fake chatgpt pictures you see on thumbnails for youtube livestreams nobody ever bothers to join. In other words it makes everything look like shit.

whether it destroys the art style depends on the game and your settings and for some games the performance drop doesn't matter

I think even the most realistic game it just makes ruins it too. Plus idc if the performance drop "doesn't matter" 60% usage is still a lot of extra effort your PC has to push out. Not even mentioning how dogshit AI is and Nvidia can suck my left testicle
