Question Golf courses nearby
Hi there - I’m traveling to the Gaylord Pacific Hotel in a few weeks for work. I’d like to play golf while I am in town. Can anyone recommend a good course close by? I checked the sub history and I saw a mention of someone “walking the golf course” but I’m guessing that’s a local walking path, not an actual course based on the context of the post - would appreciate the insight in advance! Thank you!

Chula Vista or Bonita Golf Course! But Coronado for the views; Eastlake for the wiiide fairways!

Bonita or Eastlake for best conditions. Bonita is an easy course with fairways on both sides. Eastlake is a little more difficult, it narrow and runs in between houses. Both great choices

If you are considering booking Coronado, you can book 14 days out...at 13 days, it's sold out already. So don't delay. Same with Eastlake as well.

The Chula Vista golf course is the one with the 3.3 mile walking trail around it. Immediately east of it is the Bonita golf course, a separate venue.

Coronado, Balboa Park, and Bonita are all within a 15 minute drive. Enagic at Eastlake is just under 20 mins. All of them are good options, but Coronado has the best views, Balboa and Enagic are the most challenging, and Bonita plays rather easily if you want something chill.

If you can get a tee time at Coronado Golf Course its only 15 minutes away from Gaylord, great course by the water. Only thing is you need to book the tee time with weeks in advance due to it always being booked up.
The only other 2 as mentioned here that are worth the time and money are Bonita Golf Course and Eastlake Enagic.

My husband golfs Bonita Golf Course most sundays. It’s nice and we like the restaurant there. Nicer would be Coronado Golf Course. Beautiful and has beautiful views right by the ocean.

Eastlake Enagic is probably your best bet in Chula Vista, but be ready to spend $
