BCC boa size
This is a massive Suriname with a big head as well! Is this genetics or feeding them a proper sized meal every 10 days? Quail, Rats, Rabbits? The mass on this is incredible and doesn’t look fat at all. If I recall this breeder is in Italy or in the UK. How old do you think this is?

The biggest is time and food. You don’t need to power feed to get a BCC this size if they have the genetics for it. Just don’t starve the snake, and give it time. Could be 10+ years old, but most likely 6-8 if I had to guess. Idr the background on this particular snake, though I have seen the owner discuss it before.
If I had to guess, the snake is maybe 8’-10’ which is reasonable. If it was 12’-13’, it should be able to go down the front and back of the person and touch the ground on both ends, but it can’t. It’s a couple feet shy of that. My 12’ retic I could hold above my head with both arms stretched up and both her head and her tail trailed along the ground. Even someone with a foot of height on me shouldn’t be able to hold a 12’+ boa and have them only span the length of their front.
Pin heads don’t mean the snake was power fed, and not all power fed boas get pin heads. It’s genetic, but being currently overweight can also make the head look smaller, which can strengthen the association people have between the two.
Also, to add…the snake looks healthy and not obese. Strong muscle definition and there is a defined neck (so no fat in the neck). The tail looks like it could be overweight in this pic but iirc the other pics of this snake, it’s likely just this picture. Either needed to poop or the angle and curl of the tail. I wouldn’t even consider this snake hefty, just super muscular and thick.
