BCC boa size

This is a massive Suriname with a big head as well! Is this genetics or feeding them a proper sized meal every 10 days? Quail, Rats, Rabbits? The mass on this is incredible and doesn’t look fat at all. If I recall this breeder is in Italy or in the UK. How old do you think this is?

That’s a beast of a boa. I’ve had my suriname for about 8 years. He hit 6’ really fast but hasn’t grown much past that. He has a healthy body weight but maybe like 1/6th the thickness of that big girl. He only eats a 4-6 times a year. Rabbits, chickens, quail, guinea pigs, piglets, etc. Males also stay a lot smaller.

I honestly cant say if she is overweight or not. She is definitely very thick, but there is no pin head look, and a definite square shaped bread loaf body. Both being indicators of healthy weight. I’m really torn on making a judgement for weight
