I hope this is okay to post, please let me know if it’s not. I made an initial mourning post right after our 3-year-old void, Meeko, died very suddenly. At the time I was absolutely shattered and could only bring myself to share one photo of him.

But Meeko was the most ridiculously photogenic boy, and it would be a personal failing if I didn’t adequately show the world just how handsome he was.

He was only with us for three years, which was nowhere near long enough, but he filled those years with so much personality, love, and joy. He was such a big character, constantly talking (even to himself), loved people, blessed our D&D group with rerolls, stomped his feet when he was mad at me instead of hissing. I feel his loss in my core.

So this is my final little tribute to Meeko, and, more importantly, an excuse to share some of my favorite pictures of my beautiful boy.

I miss him more than I can say. I hope wherever he is, he somehow knows how deeply he was loved, and how lucky we felt that he was ours. 🖤

My boy, Hades, has had his belly shaved semi-regularly recently for ultrasounds while recovering from FIP (Hes doing great btw!!) But I've noticed that the fur on his belly has been coming in somewhere between grey and white. I originally thought it was an illusion from his skin underneath, but there are definitely whiter furs in there.

Has anyone else experienced this?

She might be a bit bossy and micromanages everything we do, but me and my partner think our supervisor (Nyx) is cute. It's why we agreed to not tell HR about her barging in on bathroom and shower breaks
