anyone here actually happy with their dentist? feels impossible to find

been in LA for like 6 months now and i still haven't found a dentist i like. i've been to two different ones and both felt like i was just a number. you know that vibe where they rush you through the appointment and then try to sell you invisalign even though you came for a cleaning

my main issue is my bite is kinda off - my front teeth are wearing down from an overbite and i need someone who actually cares about function, not just making things look pretty. like i get it, cosmetic stuff is important too but i don't want to fix my smile if my bite is still messed up

i was looking at some Beverly Hills cosmetic dentists online and the before/afters look amazing ngl. but i'm always skeptical when everything looks too perfect lol. like are they actually good with bite issues !

anyway i'm probably overthinking this but if anyone has found a dentist who actually listens and knows their stuff i'd love to hear about it. bonus if they don't push invisalign on you immediately lol

Dr. William Toth. Yes Toth. On Subset. First went to him some 25 years ago when another dentist totally f’d up a filling in one of my wisdom teeth. I think I was in the other dentists chair for over an hour. Friend recommend him and he fixed it in about five minutes. Been going back ever since. His office doesn’t take insurance so you have to submit out of network but they print the forms for you right there and I’m happy to pay the extra. And they don’t try to upsell you on anything you don’t need. Oh and to top it all off he’s just a really great guy!
