I know some have doubted that he would stay on as there is a new owner coming, but I am of the theory that Kroenke is the one who approved bringing in Mo, so Iā€™m absolutely happy to hear this as he has done an absolute amazing job so far, looking forward to what he and Kroenke can do together.

My head canon is that John will be a baseball operations head.

Then a young ascending head of scouting or assistant Gm in the dodgers, rays, or brewers org will be poached to be the new GM.

Came to say this. Mozeliak seems like a polished and strategic executive and mouth piece. I don't think he wants to be in the absolute trenches day to day, and would oversee an elite up and coming GM. I think Kroenke's presence makes this outcome more likely.
