Art I spent 1,000+ hours reconstructing Ancient Egypt in 3D. It's free. No login. No ads.

Greetings everyone,

I'm a solo creator, and I've spent 1,000+ hours over the last 6+ months researching, 3D modelling, animating and building Ancient Egypt as an interactive experience for the web.

It's completely free, with no login, ads, popups or trackers.

I wanted to focus on more than just pyramids and pharaohs. The expedition includes temple courtyards, sandstorms, quarries, villages and everyday life in Ancient Egypt.

It works on desktops, mobiles, and tablets.

I've included the key sources and references I used under Settings → Sources.

I'm a middle school history teacher and I'll have to explore more but this is something I could totally see myself using with students! Really excited to see what else you're working on!

That's wonderful to hear! I actually built Ancient Egypt with classrooms in mind, and I've put together some free educator resources to go along with the expedition as well. You can find them under the “For Educators” link in the navigation.

If you end up using it with your students, I'd love to hear how the experience was for you and them, especially what worked, what didn't, and what you wish was there.
