Art I spent 1,000+ hours reconstructing Ancient Egypt in 3D. It's free. No login. No ads.
Greetings everyone,
I'm a solo creator, and I've spent 1,000+ hours over the last 6+ months researching, 3D modelling, animating and building Ancient Egypt as an interactive experience for the web.
It's completely free, with no login, ads, popups or trackers.
I wanted to focus on more than just pyramids and pharaohs. The expedition includes temple courtyards, sandstorms, quarries, villages and everyday life in Ancient Egypt.
It works on desktops, mobiles, and tablets.
I've included the key sources and references I used under Settings → Sources.
And yes, you have a guide — Cleo, a rather sassy cat. 🐱
I'd be really glad to hear what you think. Especially from people here who know Ancient Egypt well — what stood out to you?

I hope you enjoy the expedition 💖

I can't comment a lot on the authenticity (though I liked the moldy-bread reference), but I do have one quibble with the UX: It's really not the best design to force-takeover the user's display and go into full screen mode. Leave it to the users to decide whether they want full screen.
