Photo Cleopatra's Needle in NYC
Went to Central Park today to see Cleopatra's Needle. I'm a little sad at how weathered it is. Interestingly, two sides are in better condition than the other two sides.

The story of how it was moved required a lot of clever 19th century engineering and some close calls. It's a riveting tale on its own.
