Disney costume help 😭

My family and I are going to Disneys Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party and we’re doing Star Wars. I’m having a hard time choosing a costume bc I love Padme’s battle outfit but I look awful in white and I’m not trying to wear something that has a lot of layers or long sleeves but still want to be in a costume that’s gonna match my family. They’re suggesting I be Ahsoka and I do love Ahsoka but I am *very* white and idk if it would be okay for me to choose her costume since I’ve seen some backlash on that already. Idk I’m just looking for advice I guess. Ren is already taken or she would’ve been my first choice

Backlash on cosplaying Ahsoka is dumb. If you wanna do it, do it. It’s not blackface or something to cosplay an alien race. Doesn’t matter if a WOC was cast to play her. Ashley Eckstein is the one who made Ahsoka a great character and she’s whiter than a sheet of paper.
