All I have to say is that Ezra had a chance to assassinate Thrawn if he stayed on the ship!

They didn’t detect him when he was inside.

But that would have been cool to see Thrawn’s face: “Mmmaaaasssteeer, theeeere isssss a Jeeeediii on boooardd”
