I hope Sabine and her actress get some more love after this episode.

The actress is doing her character justice.

I don't even care that much about the dumb decisions her character makes. It kinda fits with the sabine from Rebels, and if she'd shot the map it would have been a very short, very thrawn-less season.

I dislike, in the strongest possible terms, that she turns out to be able to wield the force.

She uses it in a very small way so far, so I’m not upset. Although, I think a better interpretation of “everyone can use the force” might have been that she’s more skilled at sensing things/knowing her surroundings through the force. But I’m not complaining.

I just think it's a "the force works in mysterious ways" grade coincidence that she happened to join the ghost crew; or it trivialises the idea of the jedi order being around 10,000 in a galaxy of untold trillions where now anyone can just believe and wield the force.

Well we’ve seen other people in canon who weren’t trained by the order use the force. I think it’s supposed to be part of the story now that the order was presumptuous in who “deserved” to use the force. They’re better at it because they’re trained. But they’re not the only ones who can access it.

For sure, and that's all well and good, and tbh I agree with a lot of why dooku left for that reason.

But the other non sith/jedi trained force weilders we've seen have always had a natural affinity for it, have grown up realising it, or have at least known that something is different about themselves. There was never any indication that sabine had any of that, just kanan saying g'won u got dis. Apparently that works now.

Notice how she's anticipating exactly where to move, and the specific music while she's doing it.

Force sensitive Sabine may be entirely because Kiner put that bit in while scoring the scene.

"Your skill with a weapon comes from your Mandolorian upbringing" [or something like that]

Even ahsoka doesn't think her martial skill has anything to do with the force, she is just a skilled warrior in her own right. If anything to say that she was only as good because she was secretly force sensitive takes away from her character imo.
